May 17, 201311 yr You guys know, what I want for LDD? Only two things: 1. A section with ALL existing Bionicle pieces 2. A section with ALL existing HF pieces (By section, I mean a mode like LDD extended) With this, if ever becomes a reality, every Lego fan will be happy. In your logic adding those parts will make ANY fan happy? And what about Duplo or Technic fans? And I agree with previous post, we need pneumatics Edited May 17, 201311 yr by Zblj
May 17, 201311 yr Duplo isn't technically lego, though, so... (and no, the "technically" wasn't a pun!! )
May 17, 201311 yr Duplo isn't technically lego, though, so... (and no, the "technically" wasn't a pun!! ) Hang on, yes Duplo is LEGO. It's LEGO's preschool brand and has been for decades. It's not System, but the bricks are still LEGO bricks in the same sense that Technic elements are. The only difference is that Duplo parts are rarely used in other themes whereas Technic bricks are.
May 20, 201311 yr In your logic adding those parts will make ANY fan happy? And what about Duplo or Technic fans? And I agree with previous post, we need pneumatics Dude, technic is included in some Bionicle sets and even HF. And for every Bionicle and HF pieces, here is the explain: I'm among the Lego action figure fans.

What I meant is it's not LEGO LEGO. Capiche? Clearly the LDD team must have been thinking the same way, otherwise we'd have had duplo included as standard, no? I can't personally say I've ever seen a duplo piece in a normal lego set, whereas of course technic parts appear pretty much as commonplace. As such, I can't imagine there are many people out there who would be so desperate to see duplo blocks included among LDD's repertoire. Probably far fewer infact, than those demanding every Bionicle piece ever created...

Probably far fewer infact, than those demanding every Bionicle piece ever created... Off the top of my head, this set uses Duplo for a tail. Outside of sets, many builders use Duplo pieces as structural elements inside extremely large models. There is a Viking village that is on display at Brickfair Virginia every year that is essentially an island with sheer cliffs on every side, and underneath the surface are a number of multicolored Duplo columns holding everything up. I agree, demand for Duplo in LDD is probably minimal, and it's certainly not remotely urgent, but it would be a neat feature for eventual inclusion. I think part of the reason it may be a long time coming is that Duplo elements connect very differently to System elements than System elements connect to each other. A System brick can only connect to a Duplo brick if the tubes are lined up with the Duplo studs, and since I imagine the tubes of System bricks are probably simply programmed as anti-studs like any other connection point on the underside of a brick, it might be quite labor-intensive to program realistic connectivity between those parts. Well, I would put in a vote for the inclusion of Duplo elements at some point. Even if it were just basic bricks at first, it could be massively useful, especially to adult builders like myself who may have a use for Duplo in a model but may not have ready access to it. Aanchir's points about connectivity are valid, though; perhaps it would have to wait for the next major update of LDD rather than being added in a simple parts update.
May 26, 201311 yr Author One problem with DUPLO in LDD is that TLG has this really strong policy not to mix System with DUPLO. I think it have something to do with child safety perspective. I'm guessing it is what is keeping the LDD Team from adding DUPLO. That, and that the target group for DUPLO is not the target group for LDD.

June 3, 201311 yr LEGO Friends figure parts would be great to have... All the Design IDs listed are accurate for all instances of that part, with the exception of heads which have different Design IDs depending on their decoration. I do not know the Design IDs of those heads without decorations (or even whether they have any, since LEGO Friends heads are preassembled parts like legs and torsos, and they've never appeared in sets without decorations). TORSO, GIRL W/ARM 1, megablocks. (92456) TORSO, BOY W/ARM 1, megablocks. (11408) TORSO, WOMAN W/ARM 1, megablocks. (92816) TORSO, MAN W/ARM 1, megablocks. (92815) FEMALE HIP W/ SKIRT 1 (92818) FEMALE, HIP WITH SKIRT 2, megablocks. (92820) FEMALE, HIP W/SKIRT 3 (92817) FEMALE HIP WITH SKIRT 4, megablocks. (11407) FEMALE, HIP W/SHORTS NO.1 (92819) FEMALE HIP WITH SHORT 2, megablocks. (11403) HIP W/PANTS 1, megablocks. (92821) HEAD, FEMALE 1 (95514) HEAD, BOY 1 (14014) HEAD, MALE 1 (11818) Hairpieces too: WIG, STRAIGHT 1 (92255) WIG, WAVY 1 (92256) WIG, PONYTAIL 1 (92257) WIG, TIED BACK 1 (92258) WIG, PLAIT NO. 1 (11605) EDIT: Every instance of "Megablocks" in this post, as my brother points out SHOULD be "assembled" shortened to three letters... and would be, if not for Eurobricks's word filter. June 7, 201311 yr The images are fine. Bricklink was moved from one hosting facility to another, and the image links were temporarily broken during the transition. However, Bricklink is back up and running, and the images are once again displaying properly.
June 22, 201311 yr I would like some parts that the current LDD does not include. For example, the blue "glass" garage door from the fire station. Also, it would be nice to place cars and vehicles on the baseplates and flat plates.
June 22, 201311 yr Are you talking about http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4218 and http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4219 ? Those are both in LDD right now. Just search for 4218 and 4219.

July 4, 201311 yr I just wanted to add my two-penneth. I agree with SearchFunction (post top of page 6 of this topic), I'd like to see the various 'toothed' technic pieces... 6x1 plates with a hole at each end, plus items like the toothed half bush (Part 4265a), Technic Connector Toggle Joint Toothed Axle and Pin (4273), Old steering arm (4261), T-End connector (3651) .. etc etc. You know, technic parts from the 80s.

July 4, 201311 yr Hi. I'm a huge Mars Mission fan. With it being my favorite theme, I build Mars Mission My Own Creation 's on LDD all the time. But There are a few Mars Mission pieces missing from LDD. I want you to bring the following 4504246 The black and white variation of the 'Air Pump '16 x 14 x 13 Complete Assembly'. 4505360 The Orange variation of the 'Hose 3 x 32 x 2 & 1/3' 4506997 A Translucent Hose Joiner '4 x 4 x 3' These pieces are not Mars Mission and I want them to a lesser extent. I am designing an Iron Man 3 set to put on LEGO CUUSOO, since Lego made sets of scenes that weren't even in the Movie so they could avoid spoilers. But I am missing some Iron Man 3 mini figure parts. 6043327 - Aldrich Killian's Torso 6037909 - Aldrich Killian's Head 6037906 - James Rhode's Head 6039703 - Tony Stark's Torso 6037910 - Tony Stark's Head 6037911 - Pepper Pott's Head There is one last piece that I want. I can't find it on a tan torso but I know it exists on a yellow torso. I want a tan torso with a black bikini. That's it. The Mars Mission pieces I want most, The rest not as much. Thanks You.
July 23, 201311 yr I can perfectly live with missing prints. I can perfectly live with missing complicated minifig parts such as hairpiece, accessories, etc I can somewhat live with missing recent specialty parts. What I find unacceptable, however, are absent older specialty parts. This makes reproducing classic sets such as 6542, 10001, 8860, or 8868 impossible. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=73037 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2648 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2649 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2917 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3739c01 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4266c02
