Superkalle Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 @Calabar and Stephan Thanks for clarifying. The parts were so ugly I never dreamt it could be LEGO Quote
kangmingjie Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I'm a bad poster. All my base are now belong to you. Quote

Zorkalorp Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) Hi guys, I know would be an infinitely hard thing to do, but what about actually transcribing Lego Universe faction gears into material (or virtual in this case) form. It would just be awesome to have that ... Also the post last page has lots of pieces that I'd like to see be added... Also it would be good to have the possiblity of putting cloaks on grievous. I'D LOVE THAT!!! But the main thing is more decorations for pieces. Like gimme everything you got in the lego archive. OOH YAEH! Edited September 28, 2013 by Zorkalorp Quote
pbat Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I guess the part 6159 Window 4 x 4 x 3 Roof with Center Bar should be in LDD, too. Although this part was used in only 7 sets from 1994 to 2001, it matches the similar 6160 / 57894 and is a perfect enhancement for 4447 and 60806. Quote
Brawl Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 All of the original Bionicle pieces would be lovely. Being my favorite series produced by Lego, I was disappointed to find that only three of the original pieces were included. I build so many of those things as a kid I have the instructions memorized. >.> Quote
Calabar Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I was disappointed to find that only three of the original pieces were included. Only three pieces? Did you change to the Extended Mode? Quote
Aanchir Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Only three pieces? Did you change to the Extended Mode? Perhaps he means pieces that were original to the first wave of BIONICLE sets, not ones that came from earlier Technic sets or later BIONICLE sets. By that measure, it's true, remarkably few "original BIONICLE" parts on LDD come to mind. (Chiefly parts with Voodoo or HTO in the name). I also wouldn't mind a lot more classic 2001 BIONICLE parts for nostalgic reasons, although in a practical sense some were very specialized. Some parts like 32482, 32506, and 32551 would be especially useful, because they were used very frequently in other themes and are fairly versatile in their own right. And I know that LEGO used to have renders of these parts because all the instructions for the the Toa Mata and Turaga sets from 2001 had CGI renderings for the building steps rather than photos or vector-based 2D drawings. Brawl Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Only three pieces? Did you change to the Extended Mode? Yes. There are only three parts that I could count off the top of my head that are specific to the original Bionicle sets. There might be a few more that I missed, but the point is there are very few. Not even enough to start to assemble anything that even resembles a classic model. :( Quote

I count six: 32474, 32475, 32476, 32558, 40340, and 40339. Quote

Blip Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Incidentally, does anyone have any idea if there have been any murmerings about the next brickset update for LDD? Have been sort of (im)patiently waiting for the autumn update to come through... Quote
Yooha Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I read that they will be implemented, I just want to express, that the Friends minidolls are much needed! I start liking them. Quote
Masta' Blasta' Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Oooh, here are eight additions we need...! *snip* Hair from Padme Amidala on Tatooine (Minifig, Headgear Hair Female Long and Top Braided, x161) *snip* I'm fairly sure that part is the same as the already existing 30475. Maybe I'm wrong. Incidentally, does anyone have any idea if there have been any murmerings about the next brickset update for LDD? Have been sort of (im)patiently waiting for the autumn update to come through... And here I thought updates were random. I guess it won't be as big of a surprise for me when the next update comes, then. Is there a large update every season, or what? I don't pay much attention, haha. Quote
Blip Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 IIRC, there is usually a spring update and an autumn one, although definite dates aren't given... Quote

LukeWarmTea Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 There are sooo many! My biggest niggle is that there are no mini-dolls (not one!) and as they are slightly taller than figs it's pretty important to have at least one in the model to get the scale right. Friends sets can sometimes look a bit cartoony with figs. Also more Friends colours and shapes - like the pink curved roof pieces. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Since the USA won't be getting the Hero Factory Invasion from Below sets till march. Lego should add all the new molds to Ldd early so those in USA can play around with the new pieces. Edited December 4, 2013 by Takanuinuva Quote

Lego should add all the new molds to Ldd early so those in USA can play around with the new pieces. It would be really cool if they could add parts that are yet to be released as a virtual sample before you buy the real thing. Quote
