Hinckley Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 The light dissipated and activity continued as if it had never happened. Tony Peck admonished Siegourney and Sheldon for their "hanky-panky." "Calm down, Pops." Siegourney said, "I hear some of these sick cults like to sacrifice Virgins to their evil Gods. I'm just being extra sure I'm not a candidate for that." "I can vouch for that," Sheldon agreed, "Like tossing a hot dog down a hallway." Diesel was determined to desecrate the statues. How he hates those statues. Samantha and Penny decide it would be wise to get the tools out of the cart, but the shovel and broom have mysteriously disappeared. "What is that I'm pointing at?" Richard asks. Fred and Chris have still not gotten used to the odd way he phrases questions. But, Richard is right. Something is suspicious in the trajectory in which his finger is pointing. It's another mysterious puddle of blood. Cast of characters: Sylvia Berent played by Zepher Chris Owen played by Tamamono Siegourney Harcourt played by Siegfried Richard Sexton played by Mrlegoninja Donna Falcon played by Dannylonglegs William Falcon played by WhiteFang Diesel Nolan played by Dragonator Penny Maltese played by Peppermint_M Sheldon Wills played by Shadows Samantha Cole played by Rufus Tony Peck played by Bob_ Ingrid Peck played by iamded Fred Thomas played by CorneliusMurdock Diana Mantino played by Fugazi Reserves MaskedBuilder KielDaMan Scouty The Legonater *Thanks so much to VolcanicPanik, CallMePieOrDie, Swils, JediAnakin, Scorpiox, K-Nut, Darth Nihilius, The Legonater and Flipz for showing interest in the game. I wish there was more room. Please sign up again for future games! * Rules for Game play No anagrams. Each chapter you will be faced with a LEGO building challenge. The first part will be a group effort to find a certain amount of LEGO pieces. The second part will be an individual effort to figure out what model the pieces create. The winner of the individual effort will be judged by how much time is taken to solve the puzzle. When you begin to solve the puzzle post "Puzzle start" in the thread. When you solve it, post "puzzle solved" and PM me a picture of the finished product. The winner of the challenge will select three people. The three people selected will nominate two people to receive clues about the identity of who killed the other members of the tour group (the deaths from Red Moon 1). You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this:"I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room".Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example:"I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet."It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalised statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. Dynamic Actions: Actions you wish to carry out without all of the other players' knowledge can be PMed to the game host, Hinckley. You may or may not be allowed to do what you request. Host response time: Please be patient. You may bring the story to a point where you need the host to further game play. I will be on top of this game as much as possible. Please be patient with me between chapters as well. Stagnant game: If you find yourself stuck in the group challenge portion, it is because you need to find a clue or you've missed something. Don’t argue with the game host. You’ll be there until everything that needs to be discovered has been discovered. Each game day will last 72 hours with three portions, each lasting 24 hours. The team challenge will last 24 hours. The individual portion will last 24 hours. And the nomination process will last 24 hours. If the group fails to find all of the pieces in the first 24 hours, then the chapter will end with no further clues given. You cannot edit your posts. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the humorous death of your character.
WhiteFang Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Huh, another pool of blood? I am gonna walk over to take a look at the new crime scene. Perhaps, I wonder if those pool of blood are the same? Animal blood? Human blood? God knows...
Zepher Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Oh this is ridiculous! I'm assuming that once more, no one is bleeding? And shall we all cloth ourselves?! Thank you very much. I'm assuming that it would be foolhardy to share whatever clues we gathered yesterday, but I ask those who received the clues to be on watch for the sake of the rest of us. *Just to make sure there are no clues we're missing in this regard, I would like to see if anyone is bleeding, and check the floor/pool/ceiling for places that the blood could have come from.*
Hinckley Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Huh, another pool of blood? I am gonna walk over to take a look at the new crime scene. Perhaps, I wonder if those pool of blood are the same? Animal blood? Human blood? God knows... *William inspects the new puddle of blood. It's a rather large puddle. If someone lost that much blood, they'd be dead.* Oh this is ridiculous! I'm assuming that once more, no one is bleeding? *Assume away, then.* *Just to make sure there are no clues we're missing in this regard, I would like to see if anyone is bleeding, and check the floor/pool/ceiling for places that the blood could have come from.* *Nobody is bleeding and neither is the ceiling.*
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I will check the ceiling for any dripping blood again. Is the other pool of blood still there? About how far away is the second one from the first?
Hinckley Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 I will check the ceiling for any dripping blood again. Is the other pool of blood still there? About how far away is the second one from the first? *Fred checks the ceiling for blood. Sylvia rolls her eyes. "I've already done that," she says. The other pool of blood is still there, a little drier, and it is across the pool from the second one. Probably...30 studs apart maybe? *
Tamamono Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 What's this? Another puddle of blood? Oh, here we go again. Chris bends over to smell the new puddle of blood, but suddenly notices that the tools are gone from the janitor's cart. Hey, where did those tools go? Did someone take them? I'd like to ask everyone very nicely if they took the tools.
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Sylvia rolls her eyes. "I've already done that," she says. Well, I did it, um, more thoroughly. See, I got a badge. Must mean I have some training in this sort of thing. Chris, you gotta tell us what this whole smelling blood thing is about. It's creepy on so many levels.

"Hey, where are the tools?" He asks. He then asks every person, one by one, if they took the tools. Nobody will answer the freak with the blood on his nose.*
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Maybe the blood's a dead end for now. Hey, since we inexplicably have a fishing pole now, should we try to use it? I'll cast a line towards the center of the pool.

Shadows Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Sheldon rolls over and falls asleep. Wha? Huh? Oh, sorry... Back to work! No no, not that Siegourney, you know, the boring work to save our lives. We can get back to the other between scenes chapters days often. *Nobody is bleeding and neither is the ceiling.* It's almost like the blood is coming up through the floor... anyone see a way to collect some water to wash away one of the puddles so we can see what is underneath?

Perhaps Chris can just suck it all into his nose.*
iamded Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Didn't I find some Lego blocks under the palm fronds yesterday last chapter earlier? Could that be another puzzle?
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Anyone got anything we can use as bait? What would be good bait for catching a mysterious something in the water, anyway?
Hinckley Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Didn't I find some Lego blocks under the palm fronds yesterday last chapter earlier? Could that be another puzzle? *You did! Can you reach them?* Anyone got anything we can use as bait? What would be good bait for catching a mysterious something in the water, anyway? *You should probably look around.*
Zepher Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I do love walls. I love walls so much I think I'm going to go knock on all of the walls in this room. That's a practical way to spend my time while you go fishing, you slackers. I wonder if any of them will be hollow! Some, under the archways on the right and left of the room, look like doors to me. *I got and knock on all the walls.*
Tamamono Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 *You don't even have noses! ... Chris bends down to sniff the blood again. However he is distracted by something shiny. "Hey, where are the tools?" He asks. He then asks every person, one by one, if they took the tools. Nobody will answer the freak with the blood on his nose.* Ahem. Chris wipes the blood off the nose he doesn't have. Sorry about that, everyone. I didn't mean to get that close to the puddle. *Nobody sees any way to scoop up water and wash away the blood. Perhaps Chris can just suck it all into his nose.* Is that a challenge? Didn't I find some Lego blocks under the palm fronds yesterday last chapter earlier? Could that be another puzzle? That's right, Ingrid! I think we should definitely look there for the next building challenge. Anyone got anything we can use as bait? What would be good bait for catching a mysterious something in the water, anyway? I've still got some blood on my hands from when I wiped it off my nose. Maybe we could use that? You know, I wonder if we have to put anything in the water/put water in or on anything. What does everyone else think?
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I will look around. Maybe we can use the fishing pole to fish down those blocks. I'd like to try to reach them with the fishing pole.

iamded Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Hm, I was sure the fishing pole would reach. I don't see anything longer than a fishing pole around here... Maybe someone would be willing to stand on the cart and then try fishing down the bricks? Worth a shot. My other suggestion was to dip the hook in blood, but I kept that to myself as I didn't want to come off as someone like Chris. Makes sense though, surely the scent of blood would lure out anything evil dwelling in the pool. Question is, do we want that?
WhiteFang Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I am not going near to any blood, but perhaps I will like to try this. My beloved wife or anyone with nothing else to do, can you help me with this. Let's head for the centre 2 columns. I will take the sword on my left and you will take the sword on your right. After that, we will walk towards the nearest statue on its end. Place it in their hand and let the statue holds it. I refer to the arm of the statue which is reaching out. We will place it at the same time at the count of "3". Shall we?
Dragonator Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 More blood? Why so much blood? I agree with trying to whip up a puddle to see if it is coming up through the floor, clearly it must be important in some way for it to keep appearing. Also, I can suddenly see a new part of the room, isn't that cool? Are those doors or just ornamental dark tan sections with funny knobs in the middle? I'm going to pull on some knobs if nobody minds. Someone else should handle those hard ridged swords, I still don't trust William after his weird shenanigans back during the tour.
Rufus Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 If putting the swords on the statues is unsuccessful, I'd like to try using the frog as bait for the fishing rod. After apologising profusely to the frog, that is.
WhiteFang Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Someone else should handle those hard ridged swords, I still don't trust William after his weird shenanigans back during the tour. NO. And, I insist.... Trust, it takes aeons to master for you, kiddo.
