We can get back to the other between scenes chapters days often.

Yeah, shouldn't be too hard to find another 10 seconds of free time.

More blood? Why so much blood? I agree with trying to whip up a puddle to see if it is coming up through the floor, clearly it must be important in some way for it to keep appearing.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking...

Yes, it seems like using the cart and the fishing rod might be the most sensible idea to reach those other bricks.

I can hold the cart while someone else climbs up with the rod.

I'm not so sure using the cart is such a hot idea, since it's on wheels. However, I don't see any other option of reaching those blocks, so I'd like to help Fred stabilize the cart.

Um, that's Diana holding the cart. I'm over here. Maybe you need glasses, Tony...

If this doesn't work, maybe we should try fishing with the blood as bait. If that works, I don't think anyone should go swimming anymore. Might be more than one mysterious something in there lusting after blood...

My beloved wife or anyone with nothing else to do, can you help me with this. Let's head for the centre 2 columns. I will take the sword on my left and you will take the sword on your right. After that, we will walk towards the nearest statue on its end. Place it in their hand and let the statue holds it. I refer to the arm of the statue which is reaching out. We will place it at the same time at the count of "3".

*The swords cannot be removed from the wall. They are locked in somehow.*

More blood? Why so much blood? I agree with trying to whip up a puddle

*Diesel attempts to whip up a puddle of blood, but he forgot the recipe.*

Also, I can suddenly see a new part of the room, isn't that cool? Are those doors or just ornamental dark tan sections with funny knobs in the middle? I'm going to pull on some knobs if nobody minds.

*The "knobs" do not turn, but they do seem significant.*

If putting the swords on the statues is unsuccessful, I'd like to try using the frog as bait for the fishing rod. After apologising profusely to the frog, that is.

*Much to William's dismay, Samantha hooks the frog onto the fishing pole and handily catches a fish.*

*The cart climbing is successful and the bricks can be reached with the pole, but the dry leaves won't release the bricks. Perhaps those bricks will be obtained later.*

I still think we should investigate if the blood is coming up through the floor.

*Penny looks closely at both puddles. The first puddle is drying up a bit and she can see through it a little better. The ground is pretty solid there. Although the floor is full of cracks, it doesn't seem possible that the blood is coming up through them. She reaches the conclusion that the floor is not bleeding, either.*

I'd like to check inside the fish for clues or blocks.

Don't know what else we'd do with it. I certainly don't recommend eating a strange fish.

*There are no clues or blocks inside the fish. You don't want to eat it, but maybe something else does.*

Why don't you use the fish as bait? Fish with the fish and get a bigger fish!

*Penny baits the hook with the fish and catches a shark.*

If we keep catching bigger fish we might even get some eldrict abomination out of that pool

*Penny expertly baits the hook with the shark and catches a bigger shark.*

"Never look a gift shark in the mouth," somebody says. Nobody laughs.

*The group removes the contents of the shark's mouth.*

Chapter 2 Challenge

rm_c2_ch04.jpg

You have 10 hours to complete this challenge. To participate you must post "Challenge: begin" in this thread when you start trying to build (or figure out) the creation. Post "Challenge: complete" when you are finished. PM the picture to me, do not post it in this thread. If it is incorrect, you won't know until I can respond, so make sure you get your complete time recorded in the thread. Whoever has the fastest time will be declared the winner. You are on the honor code. This method is to be fair to all time zones so do not cheat!

If you need to make a correction, it is more difficult to measure that time. Since all of these creations are simple and the instructions are out there , corrections will be counted at 1 second per part moved...

The winner will nominate three members of the group, who will then choose two tour group members to receive clues about the murderer.

*After removing the contents from the shark's mouth, William is relieved to see his little friend survived the ordeal ... despite having a gaping hole in his side where he was originally hooked.*

Challenge: Begin

Challenge: Complete

I find it odd that we could have done this yesterday. Er, I mean earlier. Like, if this whole ordeal were to be recorded and split into chapters, then like a chapter ago. The only significant additions I've noted is the new blood puddle and the drawer lookin' things in the wall that Diesel picked up on. Perhaps we didn't find or complete whatever we were expected to last chapter...

Please do not post the time when the challenge is complete. It messes with the timestamp. Read the freaking rules!

I guess we need people not to post in here until 15 minutes after they start their challenge. Otherwise, the entry will be disqualified...

Challenge 2 is complete. A whopping 8 out of the 14 of you even participated. The winner is:

Siegourney (Siegfried)

Siegourney should now nominate three people who will form a committee that will choose two people to receive clues.

Nice work Siegourney, didn't know you were so good with your hands.

*The "knobs" do not turn, but they do seem significant.*

Err, I guess I'll push and pull on the knobs then. Firmly. And evenly. Have to let those knobs who's boss.

*Diesel gets tough with the knobs, but the still don't do anything.*
