Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 And while we're at it, I would like to try sprinking a little water on one of the knobs and see if it changes anything. *There is a change. The knob now appears to be wet.* I'd like to suck on one of the knobs to see if it opens. You know, saliva is callled 'A God's Gift'. *Richard sucks on a knob ( ) and gets a mouth full of blood. The CDC would be so appalled at your behavior.*
Siegfried Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The three of you have 24 hours to choose two people to receive clues about the killer. The discussion and decision must be made in this thread. We're running out of time....
Tamamono Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 *Chris rubs blood on the knobs and nothing happens. Well, that is, except for Tony tackling him and them both rolling into the water.* Chris gets out of the water and walks over to the knobs again. Maybe we have to put things on the knobs? Like, maybe some LEGO bricks we'll find later? I'd like to suck on one of the knobs to see if it opens. You know, saliva is callled 'A God's Gift'. Even I'm not that crazy. Oh well, I hope the blood tasted as good as it smelled!
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 You guys are completely disgusting and completely bonkers. I'd get out of that water quick if I were you. You saw the size of that shark, right? We may not be able to solve the riddle of the knobs today. Besides for all we know, since this is "the baths", maybe those turn on showers or something. Is the water chlorinated? Anyway my vote is that Siegourney gets a clue and, hell, I'll vote for myself again since no one seems to object.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 Is the water chlorinated? *No. But it is crystal clear as if it's coming up from a natural spring...or Hell.* I'd like to get out of the water. *Tony requests to get out of the water.*
Mrlegoninja Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Well, that didn't go that well. I'd like to wipe my tongue on my shirt. I'd like to take a drink of the pool and swish it around in my mouth.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 Well, that didn't go that well. I'd like to wipe my tongue on my shirt. I'd like to take a drink of the pool and swish it around in my mouth. *Richard continues to put things in his mouth, his shirt, the water, doesn't matter. It's like Chris with his nose. *
Shadows Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Anyway my vote is that Siegourney gets a clue and, hell, I'll vote for myself again since no one seems to object. That's fine. Damn this schedule, it isn't convenient at all.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 That's fine. Damn this schedule, it isn't convenient at all. *Sheldon wets his diaper about the time zones.*
Siegfried Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The three of you have 24 hours to choose two people to receive clues about the killer. The discussion and decision must be made in this thread. I'd be happy with that. I don't have any better ideas One to you, maybe, and one to Siegourney? Anyway my vote is that Siegourney gets a clue and, hell, I'll vote for myself again since no one seems to object. That's fine. Damn this schedule, it isn't convenient at all. Looks like a decision to me... I'd like to take my top off again to celebrate.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 A decision has been made. Clues will go to Siegourney and Fred. Chapter 2 is now over. A conclusion will be posted shortly.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 The strange day continued. Donna worried about her husband's attachment to the frog... "Siegourney," said Fred, "Come on. It's time to receive our clues." "She's receiving something else right now." Sheldon warns him. "I'll be there in six seconds." Siegourney tells Fred. Diana stares at the water for a long time. Just sits there. Doing nothing really. Just staring at the water. Diesel continues his assault on the statues... And Chris and Richard...well, they continue to be Chris and Richard. The monk appears by the first blood puddle. "You guys are giving me a headache," He says, "You spend your time licking knobs instead of talking about the mystery at hand. This is why you are stuck here now: your failure to look into things and speak to each other during the first half of this tour. Four clues have now been given. Wouldn't it be pertinent to discuss these clues with each other? With one killer among you, you can only corner him with the knowledge being learned. Where is the danger in discussing what is found? You must think outside the box, and participate. There is more than one way to play a game on Eurobricks." "That monk is metagaming," Ingrid observes. The monk snaps his fingers and they are all transported to the Psychic Imprints they witnessed during the first half of the tour: *********** *One of the tour group says: "Some people call ghost sightings Psychic Imprints. They believe spirits are stuck reliving the same moments to correct a mistake or put their spirit to rest."* *The swirling shadows move quickly from the shadows to the courtyard. They swirl momentarily around the large urns before materializing into a vision: Jonathan Falcon: Monica, what is it? Monica Maltese: Here are the remains. Jonathan Falcon: How did they get here? Monica Maltese: I'm not sure I want to know. Jonathan Falcon: Where is Siegfried? Monica Maltese: I haven't seen him since the snakes came. Jonathan Falcon: Did they get him? Monica Maltese: I don't think so. I don't think they got anybody. I think the snakes are a vision. Jonathan Falcon: What? Monica Maltese: One of the snake seemed to go over my arm, but I didn't feel anything. That scripture we found said the one who awakened the demons would receive powers: superhuman strength, the ability to make others hallucinate...I think it's that Mr. Mantino. Jonathan Falcon: What makes you think that? *There is a loud roar. Both apparitions turn off towards the jungle.* Jonathan Falcon: It's back! Monica Maltese: Run! *The vision fades.* *********** *The shadows snake into the courtyard again, ethereal tendrils reaching out from the jungle and beyond death. They form another vision*: Robert Mantino: While we were busy fighting off that tentacle thing in the East Library, she was taking gems out of a secret compartment. You know something about this temple, Monica. You've awakened the demons to kill us so you can have those gems. Monica Maltese: Jonathan, Siegfried, listen to me. I looked into his eyes and saw the eyes of a demon. It's just like that scripture said. Jonathan Falcon: We checked everyone's eyes... Monica Maltese: But if he knows you're looking he can make you think he looks normal. Remember the scriptures! Siegfried Harcourt: Let's all calm down. Robert, please stop treating the lady with such disrespect. We all want to live through this and the scriptures said we need to find the sku... *The vision is cut short and the figures swirl into an inky gray fog...* *********** *Siegfried Harcourt: He's gaining power by making sacrifices. Perhaps we need to make a sacrifice ourselves to end the cycle.* *********** *Another psychic imprint appears in front of the tour group:* Monica Maltese: The scriptures said that we need to find the place where Vaccuus was first invited into the temple. Esurio brought him into the temple through a room that wasn't originally part of the structure. How is that possible? Jonathan Falcon: Maybe it's those baths. They seem a bit out of place. Siegfried Harcourt: It would be more obvious than that. And the room where the baths are was part of the original structure. It had to have been. The scriptures said he summoned something. What does that mean? Monica Maltese: Where are the scriptures? Jonathan Falcon: Mantino must have them. Monica Maltese: How will people be warned of this in the future? If we fail, the scriptures won't be around to warn people! Siegfried Harcourt: We only learned where the scriptures were by the guidance of the spirits. Hopefully, anyone who is stuck in our situation in the future will have spirits to guide them. Jonathan Falcon: After what happened to us in the baths, we should leave one of the swords there. Whoever finds that chamber will need the sword. *********** *Before continuing to the Baths, the group is halted by another psychic imprint. This one of someone a little more recent... Johnson Willoughby: I know it's you. I checked the tour roster and your name isn't on it.* *The spirit of Johnson Willoughby grasps at his abdomen as he falls to the ground in a pool of ghostly blood. The imprint fades as Johnson Willoughby is dragged off towards the West Library where he was discovered earlier. ************ "If 10 people participate in tomorrow's challenge, I will give you all a clue about this puddle of blood," The monk begins as white light once again begins to fill the room, "Now you may see what has brought this to be."
