Hello again,

i just downloaded both instructions.

Wich of them did you build

4 or 5 with the extra cylinder near the two m Motors??? or the first instruction number 4.

Does the steering of the Loader work good ????

Hallo,

I've build it to, but de drivemotor gear keeps slipping over the gear of the differential.

I've put in a guidewheel from 8275 to push it harder on to the differential gear, but it keeps slipping.

Does anyone know how to stop this from happening.

Greetings from

Christian

The best way to prevent gear slipping is further gear reduction. Maybe you can add a 8t gear to the motor and a 24t gear to the axle that goes to the differential.

Hallo Tim,

The solution you give won't work, there is a 19t gear on the bottom of the XL motor and that goes directly on fo the differential.

I've looked at it and I don't see a way to make a gear reduction in the little space there is.

At least not if you build it with the instructies on brickshelf that are mentioned above.

Have you downloaded both instructions 4 and 5 wich one do i need only 4 or both

If you have downloaded the instructions, can you mail them to me ??

Instruction no. 4 is for version without LA and is not working ok.

I recommend version no. 5, which works fine, only problem is too direct transmission from motor to wheels. I solved it by using variable remote, which enables motor to start slowly, but I plan to rework back part to insert higher gear ration transmission.

If you build version #5 can you use a variable remote on it instead of the 2 little remotes joined together?. Does it do all the same functions as the 2 little ones?.

I built this model even before the manual version. To my dissappointment I discovered that I needed more gear reduction. The XL motor will skip on forward/reverse work. It is too fast for its intended purpose. I ended up having to rework the whole back end to get it working to my satisfaction. So be warned!

Yeb it drives way to fast,I am also having problems with the steering (backlash and a lack of movement) It is defiantly not a tip-top mod but It did give me something to do for 4 hours.
