jorgeopesi Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 The aliens invade us!, a giant work... Quote
Burf2000 Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 Don't bring that robot outside, or the neighbors may become alarmed and the Bobbies might be knocking on your door! Do you have a name for him yet? It was T1 out of Terminator 3 (which its based on) but I quite like War machine or Goliath Quote
KEvron Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 if you really wanna mess with your neighbors' heads, give your 'bot some badass weaponry and the voice of rosie, the jetson's maid. KEvron Quote
timslegos Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 That is HUGE. Wow it is impressive to see the lego holding up to the strain! tim Quote
dr_spock Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 This is mighty big. You could turn it into a moving display case for your Lego sets. Quote
Burf2000 Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 This is mighty big. You could turn it into a moving display case for your Lego sets. I have had some thoughts along them lines Quote
Burf2000 Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 Small update, I am now focusing on automating it! Also there are a few updates to the Flickr library. Sadly I think the giant head will not be staying Quote
timslegos Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 So many pieces! How does the lego hold up with all the weight? tim Quote
Burf2000 Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 So, T1 was at the Great Western LEGO Show and went down pretty well. Here is a video of it running all by its self. Quote
skppo Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Wow That is massive. Maybe you could build a life sized dalek from Doctor Who next. :D Quote
Burf2000 Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 I could do that, would people like that? Quote
RohanBeckett Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Actually, the pic with the large lego head (sorting box, I assume?)... gave me an idea.. how about using that, to create a scaled-up LegoMinifig? Would look awesome, even if the legs didn't walk.. (maybe on a wheeled/tracked platform, with faux-walking legs?) for nostagia's sake.. a scaled up (to match the head), working version of 886 would be amazing :) RB Quote
Burf2000 Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 I always wanted to build a giant mini fig. Maybe I will, first I will build a giant car lol Quote
