Yeah, I couldn't find the Bagpiper or the Spartan. . . :cry_sad: I located my first Aztec pretty easly, but the second took me forever!

The Aztec is hard to find because it definitely has the most inflated bag in the series. So I guess kids that tell the difference rush to pick it up as it is probably a big thing.

That is good too. Because if you see an inflated bag, all that is left to do is feel the lance as confirmation.

The marines are odd, they have inflated bags, but only to one of the sides of the bag. It is so specific that I can tell marines by sight. I love having bought so many marines :)

Yeah, once I fond an inflated bag the rest waz pretty simple. But the box was really stuffed, so it was hard to get the right bag!

Has this series already been released?

In some places, like Poland, but not in the USA and some other countries. So, in most countries, no is the answer.

Oh, it'll be out by September. I was thinking about going to Europe to get some (just kidding :sweet: )

It's not worth the airplane ticket

If I am to be asked, I would say they need to speed up the tempo - new series evey month.

That's a little more than a minifig every other day!

As for me, I'd be perfectly satisfied if they'd slow down to one series per year - it's been so bad lately that I didn't manage to find series 6 in shops until series 7 arrived (at which point most stores around here removed their selection of S6).

I think four months is just about perfect. . . although S6 did seem a bit short-lived. After all, I want to get a few more S7 before they come out with S8. . .

I posted an overview of 2 figures of the 8 series, in the Ukrainian forum Lego fans!

Awesome, thanks a lot for that.

I am kind of disappointed that there's no back printing on Santa :hmpf_bad:

It's also weird that they didn't make Santa's face without the beard a more old looking. He looks like a young fella with grey eyebrows

Other than that, i cant wait to get my hands on theses 2 and the rest of series 8

Maybe it's just a younger guy dressed as Santa, in the vein of Gorilla Suit Guy etc.

Do you have the Gandalf minifigure, vriverajr3? I'd like to know whether Santa's hat can be used with Gandalf's beard.

I can't believe the front of the torso of the conquistador is not printed.

I can. The conquistador's torso is unprinted because of the nice printing on the armor, and the same is with the Series 7 knight. If you want a printed torso, just swap it with the pirate captain torso. I think conquistadors use longswords though, not rapiers. Overall, the conquistador is a good minifigure.

It looks like Santa's bag will be easy to identify.

I could swear that the Red Cheerleader is a reference to the University of Alabama, who won the NCAA championship this year...

Definitely want the football player.

Maybe its not intentional, but has anyone else noticed that (Save series 1 and 4) that there's a small Easter egg on thee checklists of putting a warrior or fighter of some sort on the checklist?

Series 2: Spartan

Series 3: WW2 Pilot

Series 5: Gladiator

Series 6: Highland Battler

Series 7: Aztec Warrior

Series 8: Conquistador

I apologize for the .off topic comment, it is just something I noticed.

Not really swappable. I just think it is a shame and a missed opportunity on Lego's part since I think the original Armada torsos were excellent for their era and it would have been nice to get a modern update on those designs. Was hoping to mix some unarmored conquistadors with my old armada crew on some ships. I guess the conquistador is a good fig if all you are interested in is land battles against the Aztec warriors from the last series.

FIrst off, the S3 pilot I don't think is supposed to be a 'WWII Pilot' but just and old-fashioned Aviator. And secondly, these aren't 'Easter Eggs', just something that Lego puts in the series to add diversity, such as with the classic monsters in Series 1, 2, 3, and 4.
