I think Freddies are about 50/50 right now. Without a major army-builder piece, I can't see these being flipper/scalper bait, though. Probably just didn't stock yet.

And to make matters worst, I had to sit at the store for 2 hours. I looked like a moron circling the store. :-/ But I probably won't return for a while. We've been going to the US quite often lately.

I assume this is for a full set? That really is not a good deal mate; it's $10 per figure, all in all. Unless you're adamant about getting them right this minute, I say, save your cash and wait for a few weeks and you can get them at $4 each off of bricklink.

In California, Series 8 will be release in September? I lived in Lancaster, CA and I walk-around and checked in every stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, and Toys R US if they have it right now, but there is no series 8 are available.

I checked at Target after series 7 ran out, but there's no series 8. It just an empty box or something from MEGA Bloks.

I checked at Toys R US in Lancaster, but there's only series 6 and 7.

I checked at Kmart, but it still no minifigures available.

Wait for them to show up on Amazon France. You could get sealed cases for approximately $138 USD or $136 CDN.

I don't quite get your math. Not like I'm going to keep a full set and throw the other 44 in the trash, so $10 per figure doesn't make sense to me.

I just want to sell enough of them to make my money back and keep whatever figures are left over. Figure if I eBay them for $4/each, I'll only need to sell 40 of them to get my money back (assuming I pay $160 for a case), then I can basically keep any 20 that I want.

I found a box at a Toys R us in Louisiana. I found 14 then had them check the back to see if they had an unopened box. Luckily they did so I was able to find the other 2 needed. I feel proud I had 100% accuracy.

They probably have them at my ToysRUs, but I think I'll wait until they get them at the Lego store so I won't have to pay as much. I'm not really in a hurry though, there's only a couple I want from this series.

My TRU in Tyler Texas has them. I found a half-full box that I had assumed was picked through, but I managed to find 15 and an extra batman. Someone did manage to get all the conquistadors before me. I'll pick that one up when they show up at Wal-Mart. I may pick up more divers at some point, but I'm done for now.

Picked up 32 random packets at 2 different Toys R us(16 From each) here in Southern California.

That's one of the toughest things about CMF - since you can feel the bags, you can find the hot figures so easily. . .

But it's also a good thing (I mean, who would want to have to rely entirely upon chance? At least whe you feel them you have only yourself to blame. . . ).

I don't know - I'm not a retailer, but I don't see how you can be unhappy with with $160 on Ebay (mine, for that price, included shipping and no taxes).

If I could buy a case locally for MSRP it'd be $180+ tax (ultimately over $190... $209.40 + tax at rip off TRU). I doubt you'll get an average of $4/figure. Assuming you're in the U.S., TLG seems to have saturated the market, and there's so many ebay auctions for figures (and bricklink), I haven't really seen them go for that much... and what pain, too, if you ended up with 40 individual transactions.

Finally, there's Series 8 available at my local Toys R US. Now I got the Actor, Business Man, Cowgirl, Diver, Red Cheerleader, and Santa. Next time I will get the rest like the DJ, Fairy, and Pirate Captain.

For USA people... not that we should complain too loudly... but last time around I ordered a box from Amazon.fr and it was cheaper than a domestic purchase and they didn't charge any sort of tax or tariff. The only problems there are shipping time (about 3 weeks I think), and waiting for it to be available for purchase if you get impatient. If series 7 is an indication, Amazon.fr will probably have them available for purchase in a couple weeks.

On Ebay Germany a complete series 8 set plus 2 bonus figures from series 6 can be found for 39.99 Euro. Shipping to Europe.

I FINALLY found series 8 at my local TRU.The box only had little left. I felt the packets and decidied that there was no Bat.Instead,I ended up with the evil robt,which turned out to be muchbetter than I thought..an instant favorite!

We at least have Omaha at 500k people, but still nothing gets put here since it is the (almost) dead center of the country. I have yet to see any series 8 around and they just finally got Monster Fighters sets in and the Orc Forge, if that says anything.

I'll keep people posted if I ever see any. If I see them here, then I would expect them to be available everywhere!

Seems like they haven't hit Missouri yet either. At least, not St. Louis area. I really want the Diver and Conquistador - they both have some parts I could really use.
