So, I took a break from my Star Wars builds to focus on some other themes. I've always wanted to build an action figure-scale Terminator!

Not every detail is here or entirely accurate, but, keep in mind the scale and the fact that it's Lego.

"Hasta la vista, baby!"

Hello!

That's an excellent choice! With Star Wars making less and less fun, I went a similar way and am focusing on other things. :classic:

The terminator is an excellent addition for your moodland showcase. It looks as complex as the original with all the pneumatic tubing and hinges. Also the moodland-scaled skull is a cool idea. :classic:

Cheers,

~ Chris

Brilliant!

Really too much fantastic parts usage here to list but I'm particularly fond of the use of levers on the head and nose! And yeah, the skulls are a nice touch. I think this deserves two...

Thanks, Chris! I don't find Star Wars to be any less fun, I just needed a change of pace for a bit. Thought I'd get some other themes out of my system before the next Community build. :classic:

wow, love the head and legs. I would only look into those hands, they seem tiny compared to the rest of the body. :sweet:

Thanks! Yeah, I'll have to try some different techniques for the hands if I make a V2. :classic:

Thanks for the link. I gotta admit, that's a great build you have. The face, although a bit cartoonish, makes it recognizable as a treminator. And those skulls beneath its feet, that's a good reference to the movie poster. The use of SNOT to make the legs is admirable, although the feet are a bit too small for my liking. What type of guns are those?

Just saw the moc.

And I must say, you nailed the look perfectly.

Especially on the scale.

Thanks, man! :classic:

Thanks! Oky's right: Brickshelf is outta wack, so the only way to see this is on Mocpages or Flickr. I know the head and other parts are simpler than the "real" thing, but keep in mind the size. The guns are from the opening scene of T2 with the Terminators walking through a field of bones in the future. here's the model I used as reference:

Nice work Mood

That's a really great design you've managed.

I really dig the legs

Thanks! I tried a TON of new techniques on this fig in order to achieve accuracy and a machine-like look, especially in the legs. :classic:

Very nice Terminator. I have't seen any of the movies, so I'm not sure about the accuracy, but it definitky looks cool. Hands are too small for my liking though. I like the design of the legs.
