During the height of the Roman empire,

it was a common sight to behold the Legionaries led by the commanding Centurion

depart for new campaigns after visiting the temples.

Still a WIP that goes together with the lion statue.

The columns look great!

It reminds me of the senate house door from ROME where Marc Antony had Cicero's hands nailed after his execution. While that's not exactly historically accurate would be funny to see a pair of mini-fig hands up there.

Oh, don't you wish Lego made a Roman gladius ?

Lego did in fact make a gladius. It came in the S5 Gladiator. Just an idea.

I think he was being facetious. But yes they did make a gladius if you were unaware ACPin.

It's still a WIP and I'm aware of that.

It's looking good!

I like the reference too! :vader:

Only LSW forum regulars can know that!

Amazing, as usually...

More to come...

I just noticed something. . .

What are the Battle Droids on top of the columns supposed to be?

You'll have to wait and see, unless you've already imagined what that pillar looks like.

Thanks and I do know about it as I just have to crack open some S5 gladiators.

Very nice! Love the SW reference and the doors!

The building has been completed and all that's left is to get the minifigs posed plus some minor details. Pics will be taken afterwards and should have it posted by weekend. :sweet:

This is the best Rman MOC on the website. If this does not get frontpaged, nothing should.

My favourite MOC ever.

Thanks for the vote of confidence but it's not for me to decide.

Until the next one comes along!

Wow! That is amazing! :wub_drool: :wub_drool:

As promised.

Glad to see it finished! I love all the fiddly detail on that top part that has a name I totally can't remember right now...

Really sweet job you've done here!

The roof!

Awesome job, you've created another masterpiece. I don't think I've ever seen so many different tan bricks. I really enjoy your use of the different bricks in ways I've never seen or would have ever thought of. When I first saw the pics of you using the SW battle droid torsos I thought "wow". Then I saw how you used the bricks that protrude from the side of the building to make a pattern and another "wow". Then I had to zoom in to examine the roof of the temple to check out how you did the tiles. I really liked the effect and look of the dark red plates with the rounded corner on the roof. Really nice touch. I'm blown away and I know the more I examine your pics, the more awesomeness I'll find.
