Sebeus I Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) [pid][/pid] 123B For my third week entry I went for Islanders (btw, the poll for this week is up, feel free to vote for me ) Anyway, the seed part was a horse hitching. More pictures at mocpages Let's see what week 4 will bring in this challenge, I really must join these contests more often, I build things I would not have build otherwise, used parts in a way I would maybe never tried using them Oh and don't forget (...) Trent Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 That is an awesome technique! I like the island itself too. Quote
Frank Brick Wright Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 That's really cool! Do you think you would be able to build a larger ship using that technique? Quote
Sebeus I Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 That's really cool! Do you think you would be able to build a larger ship using that technique? Using the horse hitching ? I don't think so, I'm getting back to my flexible tubes to make larger ships, not anything in the near future though, I got two warships, my Flying Dutchman and an Islanders diorama in the making, it is possible though I make a small pirate sloop to fit in the Islanders dio Quote
Captain Heineken Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Very well done! I love Islanders MOCs, because they are so colourful. Definitely very creative work on the canoe here. Quote
Tomcat RIO Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 That is actually very cool and great technique! I'd never thought of using the carraige hitch this way. Good luck in the contest! Quote
