that image looks strangely familar... i think its from the Brick Testement...

I agree, there's lots of stuff like that on that wesite, half his brickshelf folders are still not moderated! This remindes me of the pic in the Lego uncyclopedia (a satirical parody of wikipedia) aritcle, which has been there well before the birth of this E-mail.

BTW that website^^ is hilarious, but be warned, you will problably come across some thing not suitable for children.

i dont think steve would do something stupid like this.

He might have made the picture, but some idiot added the text later, taking it out of context.

Ugh, that is really sick. What sicko would make something like that out of legos and plaster it over the internet? I really am disgusted with whoever made it..... >:-(

Good thing TLC took quick action, though.

The guy is twisted. Who creates scenes like that to fulfil their 'desires'? What a weirdo...then he makes it offensive to steer away the attention from his twisted mind and then tries to make it seem funny.

Thats probably how it is. And the guy is fat, sweaty, and still lives with his mother.

The picture could have been stolen on his website though... It doesn't have to be him.

Never heard of people not respecting copyrights ?

Btw this image is definitly offensive, specially the 6 years comment... The creatir has gone a bit too far in the freedom of speech for me *wacko*

I didn't clear anything up! I was just speculating that's why I said he "might" have made the picture.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say.

sure you did, natelite thought i meant the image (text art and all) could have been stolen.

when what i meant was that only the photo could have been stolen.

you made that more clear than i did ;-)

it was wording, "image" vs. "photo".

i hope they find the creator of this 'set' and turn this case into a 'clear warning' to any one else who's thinking of doing these type of 'creations'...

What sort of clear warning did you have in mind?

well for instance, there is the use of their brand name that suggests this is an official set. surely they can build a high profile case in connection with the suggestion of child abuse. what is very important , is that they openly bring this guy to court and a judge punishes him appropriately.

Well I'm not sure about the punishment though... I think that if this guy is punished for having done this image, it would be really annoying in term of freedom of expression (beside the lego legal aspect).

IMO he should just have known it's not a thing to do. To me, people should still have the right to do things like that without being sued, but should also be tought at a young age that this is not the proper way to behave. People would be more responsible then...

hm... well didn't Lego state they are working with the police to find this person? they surely believe to can bring him to court. I'm guessing they can give him some community punishment, like Boy George in NY?

They can make him build a 1000 piece Jack Stone MOC.

Gads.
