July 22, 201212 yr Why not like this? *snip* Shame those blue pieces don't exist in real life... LEGO, more blue please!
July 22, 201212 yr I'm sure somebody wants to "morph" the 9398 into "Bigfoot" or "Grave Digger" (popular Monster Trucks in the USA), but the colors simply don't (yet) exist in real Lego parts!
July 22, 201212 yr The black and yellow one would look great if it weren't for the red chassis. I think light grey would look better. Also like the blue and white one.
July 22, 201212 yr I'd like to see a lime or lime and black color scheme, I've seen lego trial trucks like that before
July 22, 201212 yr Original colour looks best can ye not just leave as Lego intended :) Original color looks awesome, its just fun to change it up :D
July 22, 201212 yr  If that set was produced in blue/white I would already have mine, price be darned! Lego, are you listening to your fans?
July 22, 201212 yr I just finished building the chassis part and can now drive it around and have fun.... what an awesome beast it is, I took 7 pictures during the build but dont know if i should post them or where to post them, as i dont want to upset anyone by doubling up posts of builds on the same model.
July 22, 201212 yr @ Rodeown: Post 'em here! You could create an account of Flickr.com and use the uploaded pictures immediately (unlike Brickshelf).
July 22, 201212 yr What is the price for the Crawler at Sherway Gardens? Thanks. BManCan $250, the same as the Unimog, and Excavator.

I couldn't do that :( I'd have to finish the model fully before I drive it to fully appreciate it :)
July 22, 201212 yr Of the colour variations posted so far, my favourites are the blue and white one for the A-model (looks so different from usual Technic sets) and the red one for the B-model (reminds me of forest fire trucks). IMHO two is the maximum number of colours for the body to remain nice-looking. Edited July 22, 201212 yr by AVCampos
July 22, 201212 yr @ Rodeown: Post 'em here! You could create an account of Flickr.com and use the uploaded pictures immediately (unlike Brickshelf). I have my own webspace to load em to so can use em straight away, Here goes some build pictures, i made em small, I still need to build the top part of it but have not been too well so am doing it slow. EDIT: Added the rest of the build photos. Changed the wheels for the unimog hubs and the Ansman tyres... I like it better than the black wheel rims. Obviously the unimog has no wheels now so i put the crawler wheels on to it... looking good Edited July 23, 201212 yr by Rodeown
July 23, 201212 yr I think you're onto something with the all black with yellow accents! I don't mind the red frame with that combo either. We should have a 9398 re-coloring contest once everyone has had a chance to get one.
July 23, 201212 yr It really pops in the blue, I wonder if using panels from the williams F-1 Racer would help, I know they aren't the same as the new one but I am sure it could be made to work.
July 23, 201212 yr I like the red b model. With a rear cage, it could look like na off road fire truck. tim
July 23, 201212 yr Bought 9398 yesterday. Finished building it tonight. It's not wrong to drive it over your five month old daughter as she lies on her play-mat is it?
July 23, 201212 yr It's not wrong to drive it over your five month old daughter as she lies on her play-mat is it? Of course that's not wrong! Neither is it wrong to jump your radio control car over your nephews.
