Professor Snape's Office

This is a MOC I made for the Community Build, it is Professor's Snape's Office. I have not researched any material while making this so don't flare me.

A top view, note the tiled black and white. These were my latest acquisitions from Hong Kong.

The minifigs, I love the old yellow minifigs from Harry Potter. I bought Ron Weasley and Snape from a classmate along with Madam Hooch for $5!

Not bad. I have a certain fondness of the old yellow minifigs too, so kudos on using those. Also, this is the first time I have seen the old Snape with the new hair and it actually looks pretty good. You know, aside from the whole glowing head issue.

The office itself is nice, and while not movie or book accurate, it still looks like it could be Snape's office. However, I think there should be more than just four potion bottles in an office that is supposed to belong to a potions master. Also, while the tiling is nice, it looks more like a kitchen floor than that of an office. I think it would be better if you switch out the white tiles for grey ones. Other than that, good job, especially on that bookshelf.

I agree when Oky says that you need more potion bottles. Maybe go out and buy a couple of 30111 The Lab? The tiled floor might also be changed. Maybe to dark green and tan? (Since Snape is a Slytherin.)

If the floor is supposed to be Slytherin themed, shouldn't it be green and grey? Besides, I don't think any casual Lego collector has that many dark green tiles. But normal green would probably look too colorful.

My favorite part of this MoC is the use of the minifigure legs as detailing on the top of one of the shelves. Nice little detail there!
