Posted February 6, 201213 yr Which movie? by Yatkuu, on Flickr When I saw this fig from the Dino line I knew I had to do this one... Oh, and if you don't know what this is about (either because you are too young or way too old to remember it ) .. it's a scene from this movie. Edited February 18, 201213 yr by Rufus Indexed
February 6, 201213 yr I thought I was going to see a Team Fortress 2-themed MOC. Although, this is a nice little vignette you have. The expression on the female is perfect! Now, is that a Brickforge knife? I want a bunch of 'em.
February 7, 201213 yr I know, I know, I know! Is it..... Crocodile Dundee? Nice one, really takes me back.
February 7, 201213 yr Author I know, I know, I know! Is it..... Crocodile Dundee? Nice one, really takes me back. Bingo! Yeah, it's been a while for sure! I really don't know why but this scene had a big impact on me when I was young... I kept wondering "where the hell does this knife comes from?!". I also asked myself, how did he get this on the plane? haha, good old times... Oh, and the "knife" is BrickArms.

Ah the old game of knifey spoony! (Reference within a reference, is that too meta?). Great film, great scene. Instantly recognisable! (And Dundee had the knife strapped to his back if my memory is correct).
February 9, 201213 yr Author Ah the old game of knifey spoony! Well.. I had to look that one up but indeed it's spot on!
February 9, 201213 yr Well for starters it's, "That's not a knife... THIS THAT'S a knife." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLS3RGesIFQ&feature=related Edited February 9, 201213 yr by Follows Closely
February 9, 201213 yr Author Thanks "Follows Closely" - this vid is pure gold! Despite all the years this guy remains the incarnation of the cool attitude. The only downside to this video is that now everyone can see that my Figs do not look like the real characters at all! even the background is all wrong actually... in my defense I'll just add that I was not really aiming for an exact representation... February 9, 201213 yr Very funny, I remember that movie well, it might not be 100% accurate but hey it's still a great little moc!
