Hrw-Amen Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) I decided that my Space Girl mini-figs needed some ADU style gear. Now they can give the men a run for their money. (Or aliens.) Edited February 13, 2012 by Hrw-Amen Quote
surrideo Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 A brilliant set, whats the colour you have used as it looks orange from my screen? My kids did the same thing but made a lime green and black one for the aliens to have. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Yes that is right it is orange. I did want to do it in pink but looking through Bricklink I could not get all the parts for this. I tried to do some bits in pink mixed with orange but it just did not look right. I think still using the greys for the chasis and a few other bits make it look like it could have come out of the same factory as the ADU ones and just got sprayed a different colour. Here are the 'Girls' of the ADU. Actually there are a couple more not in this picture, I've got a couple of jet pack ones. I was going to make them the same as the ADU ones (And still may.) but they are at the moment using the basic really old style just like on the M-Tron space men from decades ago. I think they actually look a bit slimmer and sleeker anyway. I tried using the old white Blacktron ones but they were way to big and just looked ugly on them. Here is the link to my ADU Brickshelf gallery. (I hope?) http://upload.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=478110 Edited February 13, 2012 by Hrw-Amen Quote
surrideo Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Some nice stuff in there. Remind me so much of classic space especially the Kimmer. Then again the Alien defender reminds me of a space police buggy from circa 1989. Quote

JackJonespaw Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Really cool! You sure have a lot of female ADU's! Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Really cool! You sure have a lot of female ADU's! Yes, I've been around the local shops feeling for them. It takes a while but they are easy to make out because of the helmet and ridges on the guns. I've got a few more now. Quote
SirSven7 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I really like all those pink space ladies, I must now collect my own Quote
Batbrick Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Firstly I am incredibly jealous of your amount of Intergalactic Girl minifigs, since I thought my three was a good number Secondly I love the competing colour scheme at work here, I think the boys are outclassed here! Batbrick Away! Quote
