I think you should move the bottom of the windscreen forward a stud or two.

Maybe, I am still working and trying diferent things, thank you for the advice .

It looks really great so far! You certainly build fast... It would have taken me months to get where you are currently at... :classic:

Two years ago when I leave my dark ages to do this took me too much time and now with practice everything goes faster sometimes... For example I am fighting with the back and the upside of the car and never like me, another time to rebuild...

I don´t have lights, I never think use them on my MOCs because my only interest is the mechanical part but is a good idea... maybe someday I will use.

wlel maybe not pf lights but how bout just some clear lego pieces to symbolize where the lights would go?

Is not difficult

Method A- test watch, test watch, test watch until you feel is going well...

Method B- test watch, test watch, test watch :cry_sad: destroy and looking for A method... and again and again...

This might be a post from a few days ago, but I think this car doesn't reflect the personality of the SLS, but more of a NASCAR. Not necessarily correct underneath, but any plans to build a NASCAR as I think you would nearly got the effect perfect with this one.

Thanks for comments I always try to do my best. The R8 was disassembled because the monopolized many parts but it will return better like another form of car I hope...

I'm impressed! *oh2*

You are really fast in MOC building... And the result is awesome!

Many compliments!

I'm only surprised that no one asked you about the transmission.

As I can see from first pics, it's a manual 7 speed + R, with indirect control.

The shift stick needs only 4 studs width to change the 8 gears... Is it working smoothly?

I think it's a wonderful idea; any chance to see more detailed pics of it and of the transmission as well?

First time I saw this system was on a Nico71 car, there are no more pics from this until I destroy it , but you can see the same system on my year old Testarossa but with only five gears and rc. I like this system because it makes more real the cars.

In the video you can see that it works fine.

I've seen the indirect gear control on the Nico71 Convertible, it's a wonderful ideea, but it was done with only 4 gears in that MOC, if I've seen well...

Here you did it with 8 total gears, that's a good improvement, indeed!

Should you find time to do it, I'd really like to see some closeup of your transmission system...

Although I'm over-40, mechanical engineer and long time Technic fan (I built the first Car chassis 853 when I was 7yo), I still have so much to learn about the new opportunities given by studless building and new technical pieces.

Don´t worry when I finish the model I will destroy and take pics. I am over 30... 34 , and I returned to lego technic two years ago after 14 years or dark ages... I know well where you are...
