Posted February 18, 201213 yr Hi As some of you may have seen, I am in the process of building a MOC car dealership. Anyway, I need to start putting in some minifigs and can't decide which version of technician to use. These are my choices: I will probably have three in the workshops and will vary the heads/hats but want them all to be dressed the same. Thoughts and opinions please... Cheers Rog Edited February 18, 201213 yr by rriggs
February 18, 201213 yr Either the second from the left or the ginger dude. Second from left like HighFlyer says ;) Oste Hovel
February 18, 201213 yr The ginger minifig for me, I like the slight orange detail on the jacket. Would go well with ford's orange focus st!!
February 18, 201213 yr i would take the ginger head and hair and put in on a pair of overalls. Good luck with you decision Charlie
February 18, 201213 yr The two in the middle, or the one on the far right. The overalls with straps remind me of carpenters, the full jump suit with sleves look more like auto technicians to me. Good luck with your decision. Andy D
February 18, 201213 yr I'd use the red haired guy with the orange stripes. Too bad it's not blue with white stripes. It's a clean, but he has a professional look to him. Reminds me of the mechanics at my local Sears Auto
February 18, 201213 yr I too say the ginger haired guy, but get the mechanic from the series 6 collectable minifigs and you'll have a cool mechanic plus Elvis look-a-like too !
February 19, 201213 yr Author As with all things in life, ginger for the win. I would dispute that... lol - but your point is valid and as the vote is overwhelming for the blue jump suit with orange stripes gets the job! Cheers everybody Rog
February 19, 201213 yr I know I'm late, but... The ginger! The jacket juts fits with the idea of an auto dealership. Dakar
February 19, 201213 yr Ginger fella for me too. It best looks like coveralls that would be worn in a workshop.
February 19, 201213 yr I'd go with the ginger guy for the chief mechanic and the guy on the far right for the normal mechanics. You'll also need one with a very blank expression and a brush, if it's anything like the garage near me!
February 19, 201213 yr Ginger guy... Because the ones in orange look like garbagemen, the octan-overall guy lost its way to the racetrack and the others look like carpenters to me.
February 20, 201213 yr I vote for the one in blue overalls and blue shirt. Second best would be the guy with redish-orange hair. If using hats, I'd prefer blue or white ones over red. They're more Ford colours then the red one is.
February 20, 201213 yr Well, orange is a color for all who work on a street and white is a bad idea for a carmechanik. Either the second from the left or the fourth from the left. Edit: If you decided for a special dealership (Ford?), you may consider the cooperate identity of the company. As far as i know Opel and Renault mechanics have a grey workingdress, Seat a red one... February 20, 201213 yr You can't select a new hire based purely on looks. You'll have to consider their work experience, aptitude, work ethic, etc. I suggest you perform extensive background tests to ensure that you get the right candidate for the job.
