Oversized images converted in text links (maximum size is 800x600 px)

Welcome in this section, vean.

I edited your topic because the maximum size allowed for images in the forum is 800x600 pixels (and no more than 640x480 is the suggested size).

Another thing: you should insert a direct link to the lxf file, because brickshelf is moderated and the gallery could remain not accessible for days. :classic:

@ vean: In regards to resizing your BIG pictures in the post above, recommend using the image "resizing" program that Sariel uses: http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ , which "resizes whole folders of files in just few clicks." Then, you can upload the resized (smaller) image to Brickshelf and link it here immediately using the "Deeplink" method outlined here. By "deeplinking", we can see your picture(s) immediately (without having to wait ~2 days for the Brickshelf moderator to make them "public". The same "deeplink" procedure will work for your LDD .lxf file also. :classic:

@vean

If you have used the design of another builder, you should ask him before post the work here.

I hope you will contact him and modify your first post inserting the complete references.

PS: Don't forget to insert a direct link to the lxf file, your gallery is not accessible yet.

I think those vans were designed by official Lego designers, considering they are part of the official Lego display at Legoworld.

Nice mod - just goes to show how changing a couple of pieces can actually go a long towards revising the whole appearance of the model. It's a very sweet look, even though what you've got going on there is actually a mixture between the Type 2 T1 and T2 models /noses, which hasn't actually ever existed as such.

Speaking of realism, I'm still not sold on the whole muscular mudguards / wide wheelbase thing, but I guess it's just in line with LEGO's current vehicle policy. Can't deny that the model looks recognizable, but there's something about its proportions that looks a bit off, at least to me. Then again, I guess one would expect me to advocate old-style 4-wide for this one anyway :wink:
