Posted February 21, 201213 yr Here is my latest (my 5th ever) MOC it is a tracked dump truck. It can be made with parts from set 8043 & set 8265 only. The track layout is much the same as the 8043 but with some mods. The track assembly now houses 2 of the motors and the battery box. It is fully RC controlled and has full track function like the 8043 does. It also has turning function on turntable and lifting function for dump tray. The lifting is done by one LA. The RC receiver and 2 more motors are hidden inside the engine compartment. It can turn a full 360 degrees with no problems however I normally only use it up to 180 degrees in either direction as some power cord runs up through the turntable there is a risk of twisting the cords too much if not used carefully. I was searching google images for mining equipment, just looking for some lego inspiration and I came across the Komatsu Tracked Dumper so I used this as a starting point :) Nicely done, a great hybrid! Got any vids of it? Not yet.. I will make one when I have some time
