def Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I just wondered, hadn't Minoru told Norio who he had targeted on night one before? I thought you had been working together? I was 'working with' Minoru from about half way through day two, and it didn't consist of much, other than me asking who they targeted night one. I had my own business going on for night two, and I never asked who they targeted, and wouldn't trust Nobuo's answer at this point. Sorry, not Nobuo, Minoru.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 At least hear me out, unless the scum were extra friendly last night, they would have killed someone. Now I blocked Chieko and lo and behold! No black ninja. At least just look into that further today.

Bob Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 At least hear me out, unless the scum were extra friendly last night, they would have killed someone. Now I blocked Chieko and lo and behold! No black ninja. At least just look into that further today. That's a good point and all, but perhaps the reason the scum didn't use their kill last night is because the person with that kill most likely thought they were going to be investigated or tracked. We should look back and see who was given some heat yesterday.
Scubacarrot Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Or the scum targetted someone that got blocked? Or the scum was actually the person that got blocked by Tadao. I find it odd YOU are throwing this accusation at me, since you claim to be neutral, and are most likely scum.
MetroiD Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 That's a good point and all, but perhaps the reason the scum didn't use their kill last night is because the person with that kill most likely thought they were going to be investigated or tracked. Sounds logical, but our tracker died last night... That said, the Mutineers could indeed have opted to be extra cautious, which is why we were spared a kill by them on Night 2. Or they could have recruited someone to their organization. As usual, there's a lot of possibilities, and very limited information to base our decisions on.
Cecilie Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Minoru's claim makes little sense to me, a renegade blocker, really? I know where my vote is going today . I believe we are better off without blockers anyway.
Peanuts Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 That's a good point and all, but perhaps the reason the scum didn't use their kill last night is because the person with that kill most likely thought they were going to be investigated or tracked. We should look back and see who was given some heat yesterday. That's ridiculous. Ichirou was the tracker, and the Mutineers knew he was, as they knew he was town and wouldn't lie about that. And investigations don't show if the person acted that night. And we can't have a Yakuza role cop, otherwise they would have spoken up after Yasu's claim on day one. And the Mutineers wouldn't refrain from killing based on the vague suspicion something like that might happen. Killing is the only thing they actually can do to outnumber us. We are getting more and more organized, and every night they don't kill someone their chance of eradicating us decreases distinctly. So either their target was protected, or the killer was blocked. I wonder who Tadao blocked, do you know something, Akira? That's my wife, remember! We were in bed together, getting our freak on after she'd been feeling up my ol' butt all day sleeping soundly. What, you don't think old people get to sleep? That doesn't explain anything. How is that related to the question if Tadao or Muniko blocked your wife, Kumicho?
MetroiD Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 That doesn't explain anything. How is that related to the question if Tadao or Muniko blocked your wife, Kumicho? So you're telling me this is not a good time to act funny, I get it. Apparently, puns are ill-advised here. Which is only fair considering what happened last night And yes, it doesn't explain anything. Nor do I have any concrete evidence as to whether it was Tadao or Minoru who blocked my wife last night.
Scubacarrot Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Well, Minoru claims it was him that blocked me. Which would be the best thing to do, in his position. It means he can use the argument that because I was blocked, there was no night-kill. Completely ignoring other reasons that could have caused this. I hope the person that got blocked too, will speak up. Perhaps that can teach us anything.
Peanuts Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 And yes, it doesn't explain anything. Nor do I have any concrete evidence as to whether it was Tadao or Minoru who blocked my wife last night. I don't mind joking, as long as I get a serious answer as well. So, you have actually no reason to believe so, correct? Doesn't have to be concrete evidence. Just wanted to get that clarified anyway, since you might have seen something I didn't see.
MetroiD Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 So, you have actually no reason to believe so, correct? Ichirou was suspicious of my wife, and he might have shared those suspicions with Tadao. That said, he was suspicious of Tadao himself later on, so that doesn't really prove anything with certainty.
Peanuts Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Ichirou was suspicious of my wife, and he might have shared those suspicions with Tadao. That said, he was suspicious of Tadao himself later on, so that doesn't really prove anything with certainty. And he was suspicious of Akira and Momoe, and propably Shizuko. And the suspicion against Chieko was the first one he discarded. But of course it's possible that Tadao blocked Chieko.
Brickdoctor Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 At least hear me out, unless the scum were extra friendly last night, they would have killed someone. Now I blocked Chieko and lo and behold! No black ninja. At least just look into that further today. Other Blockers, Protectors, Bullet-proof targets, conversion, targets leaving town...just to name some possibilities off the top of my head.
Rufus Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 What good is a neutral blocker? I think that's the main weakness with what Minoru has claimed. Okay. We'll vig kill him tonight I wouldn't be too hasty, after what happened to Tadao. Surely it's best to investigate him, if we have as you say three investigators at our disposal.
CMP Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Vote: Minoru (volcanicpanik) Out of vague curiosity, I wonder what color snot you'll cause the dragon.
Professor Flitwick Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 *sniff* Vote: Minoru (Volcanicpanik). I can't fathom why there'd be a neutral blocker.
Rick Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 It seems unlikely that there is more than one blocker on our side (and even then, they would probably have a different MO) and the idea of a neutral blocker seems highly unlikely. Also, as targets seems to know when they're blocked, I think we would have known by now if there were more than two blockers. Vote: Minoru (VolcanicPanic)
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 A neutral that blocks is one of the dumbest claims I've heard of. What exactly would your win conditions be? Vote: Minoru (VolcanicPanic)
Rufus Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Vote: Minoru (VolcanicPanic) Out of vague curiosity, I wonder what color snot you'll cause the dragon. I'd guess green. Unless you know something we don't?
CMP Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I'd guess green. Unless you know something we don't? I was referring as a joke to his renegade claim. Guess it wasn't clear.
