JINZONINGEN73 Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 It's not often a Lego creation inspires me to the point I save it in Favorites... but this is one of those times. Nice job. Not just the size, but the skill and sight in what it's supposed to be versus actually looking like it. Quote
legopirate83 Posted November 3, 2006 Author Posted November 3, 2006 I thought you were going to name it Soliel Royal, but if you want names... All the Spanish sailing ship names you'll ever need That should give you a good selection. :-P wow that list really helps thanks Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 3, 2006 Governor Posted November 3, 2006 i guess you could say i do have "special connections" ;-) i have many friends who work there in the legoland model shop Well get as many Pirate creations in there as you can lad! Let them know that the pirates are alive and well despite being neglected by the LEGO Company. Ahhhh, that's right, they haven't been neglecting over the past couple of years, its just that their latest pirate offerings are so forgettable... All the Spanish sailing ship names you'll ever need Another useful Wikipedia article... I should really get compiling all the Wikipedia links into one thread... It's not often a Lego creation inspires me to the point I save it in Favorites... but this is one of those times. That's pleasing to read coming from a Bionicle man! But what about this MOC inspirs you to save it in your favourite Mr Jinzo? Quote

Sting Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Great name for the ship! I gotta say that I don't even know how one would get started on a ship this big. I honest to god have no idea where you would start. Its epic. Quote

Capn Frank Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I was going to my BS account when i saw this new folder that had been moderated. It appears like legopirate is getting really far on his HUGE ship. Here's the brickself folder Quote
El Bucanero Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That... That's amazing!!! very big and detailed! There are no words to describe what I think about this ship.. The only thing I can say it's AMAZING! Where's that legopirate anyway? Mr Tiber Quote
oo7 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Ha. I was just coming here to post this. So anyway; 8-o Very impressive update! I can't wait to see this baby finished, as it will surely be at the top of my favorite Pirate MOCs. The balcony, little awnings, the decorated cannon posts and viking tiles make this ship a real beauty. I wonder if it has a stable interior.... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 28, 2007 Governor Posted March 28, 2007 Where's that legopirate anyway? Maybe he's been busy with "real life", that's what usually keeps people away from the forums which is why we're going to have upcoming newsletter. But in the mean time someone could PM him to let him know we're wondering what he's up to. Quote
