Posted March 3, 201213 yr Hello everybody! Let me invite you to continue our journey through the LEGO Star Wars universe without licensed pieces. This time I have several scenes with our two popular droids: C-3PO and R2-D2. Scenes and figures are pretty simple, but that's not a weakness, but rather one of the advantages of this project: Everyone can easily build it and join the fun of LEGO Star Wars. ---------------------------------------- Scene 6: C-3PO and R2-D2 take an escape pod to get away with the Death Star Plans Scene 9: C-3PO and R2-D2 crash-land on Tatooine Scene 9 (continued): C-3PO travels the Dune Sea and is picked up by a sandcrawler Scene 11: R2-D2 is captured by Jawas ---------------------------------------- That's it for today. Thanks for stepping by! See you around soon! Christopher
March 4, 201213 yr Great pictures! I love the escape pod one best, brilliant. Artoo is certainly "artistic license" This is a great series you thought up and you do a good job of bringing SW to life.
March 4, 201213 yr Great work again Legostein! I love your creativity with the characters! They all look amazing and the scenes are simply elegant!
March 4, 201213 yr ur sandcrawler is really great! small but yet captures the essence of a sandcrawler! 1st time i have seen such a mini sandcrawler!
March 4, 201213 yr OK so the first couple pictures is kind off cheesy but the rest of it is great, that mini sandcrawler and jawa look really good
March 4, 201213 yr By keeping it simple 'Legostein', you have made them all look perfect....they convey each scene perfectly. Keep them coming 'Legostein' and Brick On !
March 4, 201213 yr Author Hello, and thanks all for the comments! I am glad you like the new scenes. There will be more next week-end. Meanwhile, I wish you all a good start into the new week! Cheers, ~ Christopher
March 5, 201213 yr All these scenes are great but I absolutely the first shot! R2 is a very nice size, both the mini escape pod & sandcrawler are cool and the Jawa looks ace. I think I prefer the use of the slope brick over the official versions' little legs. Edited March 5, 201213 yr by Praiter Yed
March 7, 201213 yr I love this classic look! It really looks like this has been build in the '80, which is great IMO. It would be awesome to see more of this.
March 7, 201213 yr Very good. But, why is that nudist walking around with R2-D2. Just kidding. I think it is an effective C3-P0.
