If you turn up a loyal Yakuza, then our 'cop' will have to answer for it. I have faith in the investigation though, so I shall place my vote with confidence.

Vote: Hiroki (Etzel)

No wait, not him. He is a true Yakuzaa, I'm sure of that. :cry_sad:

I'll Vote: Tamiko (zakura)

You're so scummy that even you think you're a mutineer.

I would love to hear some opinions on the situation from the quieter people here  For example, what do you think about the second faction? What do you think about Isamu and Minoru's votes for the last few days? What exactly are you thinking? :look:

If you like, we can do it the old fashioned-way, and throw you one by one in front of the investigator, but I'd rather do it the participatory way, and try to smell you out through your words. Please, share! :sweet:

For example, what do you think about the second faction?

For sure, the newly revealed faction is and can be considered as a threat to our very existence in the Yakuza Family. No doubt about it, especially when the government is involved and by the sheer name of it, I don't think they carry friendly intentions.

Except for the hidden secret agents who knew of their own exact winning objective, there is no way that we can establish for sure what are their winning conditions and we can't just safely assume or think that their objective is to survive to the very end on either sides and they could just backstab us. My biggest concerns, is a big 'what if', and I am certainly hope they can't merge together (for the mutineers and secret agents) to come together and conspire against us in darkness. I could only hope that they have not establish communication. I can't and I won't think that those government people are helping us in anyway.

What do you think about the second faction?

As I've said, they're definitely a threat. As for which faction is more of a threat, we should look at the numbers. Originally, it was estimated that there were about 5 or 6 Mutineers. I estimate there's maybe about the same number of Secret Agents, give or take one or two. For the sake of this argument, let's assume hypothetical figures of 5 and 4, respectively. That adds up to nine enemies, which is roughly 28% of the total population. (Slightly more than the 20-25% that seems common these days, but bear with me.) Now, if we've got one Mutineer dead and two agents, we assume that's 20% of the Mutineers gone and 50% of the Agents gone, so there's probably a few more Mutineers remaining than there are Agents.

Now, if the Agents can convert people, they may have many more than I have estimated, and unfortunately, we do not know how many they started with, or if either of the two dead agents are Templies who were converted, so there could be as many as eight agents (assuming they started with no more than five, which seems like a fair number, and they managed one successful conversion each night).

For the sake of argument, assume conversions are possible, but there have only been conversions on one or two nights. That makes maybe five or six Agents, and two out of five or six is 20-25%. So, there might be more Agents than Mutineers, and thus the numbers say we should be worried about them, but the Mutineers appear able to do more. Which begs the question: do we worry about a faction that possibly numbers fewer and can do more, or a faction that numbers more but can do less?

(Of course, all these numbers are hypothetical, so don't take them as gospel.)

On closer inspection of my statement, the numbers are probably actually about the same in my hypothetical world. :wall:

New question: watch out for the people who can kill and all the other stuff, or the people who can only probably convert? Let's go with Door #1.

That seems much too high. I don't think there could have been five of each group, that would make almost a third of us scum from the outset, and that is simply unreasonable. Five of one with no recruits, and three of another with recruits or something is possible, but I think they would average four.

If their numbers are high, that makes them a lot more catchable at night :sweet:

Like an origami bird, the scum will fold as pressure is applied.

I find it pretty interesting how few people feel like taking part. They show up to vote, and that's about it :sceptic: At the very least, people could volunteer to be investigated tonight...
