TheLegoDr Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Thanks to the Mrs. I finally have some pictures to show. This was a joint effort. She came up with the brilliant display of windows. I took inspiration from this book and this book. I received both for Christmas and it has some amazing shots of all of the sets. I can't wait to build other scenes from the Wizarding World. Now onto the pictures! A shot from the back of the room without the students and desks. Here Professor Lupin is lecturing on the difference between a animagus and a werewolf. At the back of the photo we have the cabinet that houses the dreadful Boggart. The only students that showed up for lecture were Goyle, Malfoy, Longbottom, and Weasley. Where could the others be? A great view of the arched window in the back of the classroom. Filch has certainly outdone himself with those newly polished wood floors. A shot from a new angle. It displays the stairwell and the iconic design that is emblazoned at the center of the D.A.D.A. floor. I tried incorporating the House colors on the floor and with the flags. If you look closely, there is a bat sleeping in the rafters. A nice shot of the entrance to the classroom and the beautiful side windows. A closer shot of the windows. Past witches and wizards adorn the walls. A closer look at the other side windows. A bird's eye view of the floor plan. You will notice the center floor design better and the turrets on both corners. A nice shot of the rounded staircase heading up to the professor's office. Professor Lupin is instructing Harry on how to conduct a patronus charm. A close up of Lupin's desk. He likes to dabble in some light reading. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. Quote

Darkdragon Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Very nice work. It makes me feel like i'm practically there. The walls, floor, stairs to the office all look great! Quote
operrier Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Wow! Great MOC! I love the wooden floor and the curved walls. And I noticed you used the mirror of Erised to make the boggart's pantry. Nice thought. Quote
Vindicare Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Cool room! I really like the curved wall and the staircase leading up to the office. Nice touch of the lance with the House flags on it. The little floor mosaic is a nice touch, too. Quote
