DLuders Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 @ jorgeopesi: Don't get me wrong -- your Lego Pagani Huayra Supercar is excellent (far better than I could ever do)! Quote
Meatman Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Awesome model and built so fast! If I could offer one very small critique on it, it would be the headlamps as they are one of the signature points on the real car. Otherwise it is Great! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 I try but they hard to do it, I have no room because the front wheels touch them if I use more bricks... I will try another time , I hope the third try was the good one , thank you for all advices you help me to do it better MOCs. Quote
Sariel Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Nice creation, but with all respect, I don't think the photos do it justice. You could probably benefit from this: http://sariel.pl/2011/07/photo-processing-tutorial/ Quote
Lipko Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 It's a very good thing that you can stop and say it's finished then move on, but in my opinion, it's not too good to get caught up in this. After some models, you DO have to start perfecting a model and spend the time required to make things as good as they can be, especially if they are functions or visual features. This model (IMHO) is a big step from your previous one, I didn't really like the body of that and that you tried to fill the gaps at all costs, but this one is very good in that respect. Anyway, this model would definitely worth spending time with and being perfect as it could be among the best Lego supercars, I think we all agree about that. (and this model would also worth making top notch instructions for). Quote

With this car I will try to do better pics, thank you Sariel for the tutorial. Lipko I don´t have any idea how to do instructions so I am sorry. Quote

Start to take the thing apart and make photos of the things you removed and the remaining model. Then... Someone would probably help you with the real instructions... Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) To who maybe interested, two pics of the basic 7 speed and reverse gearbox of the Huayra, no secrets only as small as posible... Edited June 26, 2014 by jorgeopesi Quote
GuiliuG Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Compact gearbox but i definitively do not like the way the gearbox is built with connectors because they generate too much friction compared to standart beams. To speak about your car, I find it's nice but can be even better if you spend the time needed to reach this perfection ( such as crowkiller do). I think you build too quickly and don't reflect too much about the optimisation of your construction ! Quote

Yes, you are right, this model was built on 3 weeks and the funny part was the mechanical part all the rest bored me but I am trying to change my mind... When I can spend 4 months in a only MOC, what a MOC will be or not... Final video, thank you again for comments. Edited March 30, 2012 by jorgeopesi Quote
