YangHao6998 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 The LEGO Batman Visual Dictionary is out? I gotta go get it! Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Sweet figure. Looks like he has the new cowl too. Quote
just2good Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 {pic} Hi Guys, Finally got my long awaiting Electro Suit Batman from Visual Dictionary. Awesome minifig with identical pattern as the LEGO BATMAN 2 Video Game! Cool! {pic} The pattern is applicable for back and both shoulders as well. Wow! It looks way better than I expected! Quote
Gooker1 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) *snip* Hi Guys, Finally got my long awaiting Electro Suit Batman from Visual Dictionary. Awesome minifig with identical pattern as the LEGO BATMAN 2 Video Game! Cool! *snip* The pattern is applicable for back and both shoulders as well. Is that a light blue print on top of the cowl too!?!?! Hats off to TLG for killing it w/ this sweet little inclusion to the book! Edited July 5, 2012 by CorneliusMurdock removed quoted pics Quote
Spider-Man Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Good call! I did not see that little strip before. Good eye Edited July 3, 2012 by Spider-Man Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Is that a light blue print on top of the cowl too!?!?! Hats off to TLG for killing it w/ this sweet little inclusion to the book! Yeah, there's a light blue strip on the forehead. That white square on the right is just the light. -Sci Quote
purpleparadox Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I was waiting for pics like these to decide about the Visual Dictionary...is it good or bad that I now need to buy it? The printing on every minifig is getting so detailed that I can barely resist buying them all! My poor, poor, wallet. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 One of the coolest Batman figures I've ever seen! Can't wait to get the visual dictionary Quote
Piranha Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 What poster? This one. With the accompanying text: I know we are in 2011 still, but we cannot help but get excited about the new Lego comic book licences including the Licence for Lego Batman The Dark Knight Returns and the new Superman movie which has been pushed back to the summer of 2013, which along with The Hobbit movie is one of our most anticipated movies for 2012! I believe recently we got some more information on TLG indeed producing some Superman sets for the upcoming film. And the Hobbit info was correct as well. So maybe we will see a DKR set soon. Don't be disappointed yet, a new set will be announced at Brick Fiesta, it could be based on TDKR Interesting, I am looking forward to seeing what that set will be. IIRC TLG has neither directly confirmed or denied the production of a DKR set, yet. Quote
The Blue Brick Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 That figure is amazing. I love how they included the stripe on the cowl. It makes it even better. Also, this talk about this DKR set, lets hope its true. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Dark Knight RETURNS? This guy doesn't know what the title of movie is, which makes me hesitate to believe him Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Nice looking Batman fig, know all we need is someone to brick build the back pack. If one of you guys ever finds out WAHT the much speculated TDKR sets might consist of,dont wait to post! Edited July 3, 2012 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 IIRC TLG has neither directly confirmed or denied the production of a DKR set, yet. Didn't we just get a confirmation in the form of a TLG official response to a mainstream media story as recent as last week? Certainly that trumps anything from 2011-- I say nay to any TDKR sets, unfortunately... Quote
iambob13 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Dark Knight RETURNS? This guy doesn't know what the title of movie is, which makes me hesitate to believe him That's what I was saying. I've not seen anyone actually associated with one of the LEGO fan sites reporting about this other than a he said/she said repost of something else. Could someone who has connections ask some questions? That's a nice looking Electrosuit Batman. I hope the book is very successful and we can get other suits. Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I am sorry, but can I please see a recent and official statement from Lego stating there will be DKR sets? Because, from what I read of late, there will be no sets and it's honestly getting irritating listening to people talk about sets that aren't happening. Quote
Spider-Man Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I thought that they blatantly came out and said there will NOT be any sets for TDKR. I will go back a few pages and see if I can find the exact post. Quote
Omicron Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Love the new Batman fig. Gonna modify it so it becomes a Tron fig. :D -Omi Quote

Faefrost Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Is the book with the Batman fig out? Amazon says not until Sept 3? Quote
HawkLord Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Is the book with the Batman fig out? Amazon says not until Sept 3? Barnes and Nobles also has a Sept release listed and the book is not on the Lego site - makes me think it's not out in the US yet. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Wow. I hadn't even considered getting the visual dictionary but that Batman is awesome. All that printing may be too good to pass up for a lot of us. Quote
The Blue Brick Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Barnes and Nobles also has a Sept release listed and the book is not on the Lego site - makes me think it's not out in the US yet. I was at Barnes and Noble today, an did not see it. They did have the Star Wars and Harry Potter visual dictionary on sale though. Therefore, I'm guessing the release date will be later this year for the U.S. Quote

TheBatman Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 If you would kindly let me backtrack A little bit ( to the TDKR set ) , I don't think TLG would make a new TDKR styled cowl .... I sense somthing big planned! Quote

I sense somthing big planned! I was thinking the same exact thing when we first saw the new cowl. Now that we have backtracked, it does make sense. Now I'm even more hopeful. Quote
