For some reason unknown I really hate the new Joker's vest. I don't know, it just seems wrong..... Oh well, as I said, I'll mod him heavilly anyway. )

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

Oh THAT Duckmobile. I also like what you've done with the place.

Back on topic: I see great minds think alike on minifig printings.

Maybe we'll get Green Lantern in a promotional polybag.:laugh:

I would easily buy 5 or more if this was the case. Sadly, I doubt LEGO would do that with one of the main DC Superheroes. :hmpf_bad: I actually would be happy with any superhero LEGO puts in a $10 or less set.

I don't have any Batman figures, so I am okay with getting any! Looking back at the older Joker, I like the new one and the old one. I'm just silly like that. But I do like the new Poison Ivy more for sure.

Has this figure been posted here?

<The Snip>

I found it on Brickipedia.

Yeah, on the first page. How did you miss it?

I was looking over the past Batman Sets, and I hope we get more buildings in this wave. The original line was really pushing it: Bat-Dragster and Bat-Buggy though this might be remedied if only the Bat-Wing and Bat-Mobile are appearing according to rumors.

As well alot of people have been placing Wonder Woman in the Superman set but I think it's more likely she will be paired with Batman, as in the Justice League Cartoon they were close.

Actualy, that one has a blue cape/cowl/tights/gloves, while on this one they are black. Not a big difference, but still, variation is nice. :classic:

Just the lighting, if you up the saturation in a photo-editing program you can tell it's just the regular Blue Batman.

If they were making another version, I think they would change it more or use the Comic-Con promo. I hope they don't though cause I'm trying to get money to buy it.

Personally, I think the cockpit of the Batmobile and the wing shape of the Batwing could use improvement. Hopefully you'll be able to seat both Batman and Robin in the Batmobile this time around! :sweet:

Which is a pity since the dark grey torso and legs with black accents (cape, cowl, hands and hips) looks better than the light grey with blue accents.

The list of sets is interesting. Small sets come to mind, with the characters being named in the titles.

One thing that's confusing are the names of sets 6865 to 6869, as they all are placed after the Batcave. I know they're preliminary, but the names sound as if just the characters are in these sets.

I hope they'll go the Cars approach. There are a number of small sets and even some standalone ones with a single character. Combined with a few larger sets, that means getting the lineup of figures is easier.

Where did you see the set list? If your talking about the one a user posted here, i think that was just guesses/wishesor soemthing!

Very nice, designholic!

I'm also hoping for smaller sets with minifigures instead of having to purchase the typical $90~$100 main set to get that one rare fig....

That's possible, I suppose, but all the sets sound like straight-on Batman sets like the old ones, and the only "Expanded DC Universe" set seems to be the Superman one.

Unless, of course, like with the Green Lantern, there is a set we don't know about yet which she will appear in. Heck, maybe she's even in the same set as GL. (I kinda doubt it though.)

Well, I don't know what list you're talking about, but we're discussing this one, and we have reason to believe that there's some credibility to this list.

Well, like you said, these set names are obviously preliminary, and I highly doubt that these are just packs of minifigs. This is Lego we're talking about! There must be something to build inside. It worked for Cars because the characters are brick-built.

Introducing Green Lantern Minifig :)

Very nice indeed! I hope you didn't have to spend too much of a fortune to get it. So, is that the other side of GL's head?

If people are wondering why Wonder Woman or The Green Lantern haven't been written up the set list....consider the fact that it might be first half releases and the other two DC heroes might be second half releases. Just a though !

Maybe I worded it badly...

I meant that the sets sound as if they're small sets, probably smaller than a battlepack but larger than an impulse. That means a minifigure or two, and some sort of building to go with it.

I was actually talking about another website, but that has the same list, so yes.

Indeed. Note the apparent complete absence of any Spider-Man sets in the Marvel list, despite the fact the Marvel press release specifically notes "the LEGO Spider-Man sets offer minifigure comic versions of Spider-Man, and Doctor Octopus" in a context that suggests they'll be part of the initial lineup to be launched in May.

I therefore am inclined to think the All About Bricks list is accurate, but incomplete as well as vague. Of course, we should know more in a matter of months.

This the licence I was waiting for.If LEGO does a Nintendo lincence,I will jump of joy.But no Spidey,no Robin,no Penguin,no General Dread,no deal

Well, TLG has already specifically stated it would include both Spider-Man and Robin in sets, and I'm sure the Penguin will return sometime as well.

I mentioned this in the Avengers Movie thread that we have in the Culture theme, that the Disney D23 (The Disney version of the SDCC) is this upcoming weekend. Seeing that the first time we saw images of the upcoming Super Hero figures was at the SDCC there is a good chance that we might see some more polished versions of the toys at the D23. Disney now owns Marvel, so I would assume that there wouldn't be any DC related figures there. But from what I understand they are really trying to make a splash this year with the Avengers so cross your fingers that we get some pics!
