Am I the only one who's noticed that Iron man's hand jets are the LotR ring piece in trans-blue?

Also have we had a pic of Stark's head? I want to see how smug he is.

After careful observation, I agree with you it does look like the LOTR ring in trans-blue. Only time will tell for sure though.

Actually, the suit with the round chest RT shown in the newest trailer looks to be a completely new suit. It looks like it has some sort of jetpack on the back. There are some screen caps here.

Iron Man had 3 different armors in each movie. In the first Iron Man film, he had the original Mark I, the silver Mark II prototype (that was stolen and turned into War Machine), the Mark III that was damaged in the final battle.

In Iron Man 2, he started with the Mark IV, an upgraded version of the Mark II, then had the Mark V suitcase armor (probably destroyed by Whiplash), and finally the Mark VI with the triangular chest piece.

These toy images show he'll make a new suit for the Avengers.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Fury in the Spider-Man set. After all, the Ultimate (Sam Jackson) version of Fury appeared frequently in the Ultimate Spider-man comics, and looks like he'll be the new TV show as well.

Thanks, that is a great explanation. I would love to see the suitcase armor as an Iron Man fig.

Many people don't like the helmet that TLG made but I don't think those judgements are fair until you have one in hand. As of right now I like it, it doesn't seem abnormal compared with Batman or Stormtrooper helmets. I think it is cool that it can open up and we get Tony Stark's face. I am interested to see the design as well as finalized real life images of both Iron Man suits which hopefully will have nice back printing.

After looking at those screenshots, I realized that Black Widow's hair is wrong.

It should be this piece in dark red.

Do we know if these marvel sets are out in April or May?

I suppose logic would dicate an April release to put it between both the DC waves, but i've just booked a stay at the LEGOLAND hotel Windsor for mid May and if those marvel sets are there my eldest boy is going to perform open-wallet surgery on me!!

Brace yourself! I think they'll be out for late April as A1 comics have taken a pre order from me suggesting mid to late April.

However I'm not too keen to spend too much money on the line if there is a TDKR set to appear from nowhere

The piece Lego have picked is probably the best of what's around and it's a decent fit tbh. The hair suggested as being better just screams male to me due to it being in the PoP sets and the scientist from ADU HQ.

Think again:

By this picture TLG's choice of hair is perfectly accurate, if a bit long.

I said "In dark red". My point was that the hairpiece TLG used was too long.

Yes, I figured that out.

It's not too awfully long, and it fits better than the shorter hair that you posted, which is far too short. If anything, I find the lock of hair draping over the shoulder to be the most inaccurate part of the entire 'fig, mainly because there is already a part in production that would be more accurate to the movie version.

Have a wee quick look at your sigfig, then at your username

Lego hair like real life haircuts and hair styles can be unisex, I know....It's only my opinion that I think automatically of that hair being male and that fig from the car/caravan set I dislike as much as the same head they put on the lady garbage truck employee.

Maybe a dark red version of the barbarella/space girl may have worked a bit better than the piece they have chosen(Again long). The character itself isn't worth/doesn't need a new mold it seems, neither is Thor. I am surprised at that considering it is such a big licence.

In the pic you posted, her hair looks like the piece you suggested: longer and smooth. In the pic I posted, it looks like the piece I posted: shorter and a bit rough. Perhaps in the movie, she gets a haircut.

Or maybe Loki or somebody needs a lock of hair to control the person, like he's doing with Hawkeye and Hulk in the sets. That might explain the hair change.

I can't say these are good sets but i really want Wolverine minifig and of course the ultimate HULK figure!

Can you guess what will approximately be the price for a single Hulk on Bricklink when these sets become available?

I think it will reach the half price of the set his is in!...like 20-25 euro!

The black widow hair is so wrong.

the hair she had would be more okif atleast it was in the right color. she doesent have orange hair. it looks better in redish brown, but dark red would be best.

It IS dark red. Color is right. Length/style is wrong.

Have a look at Scarlett Johansson in Iron Man 2. Her hair was longer, now think when Lego started working on the designs and if they saw cuts of the movie in progress or merely stills. It's lego, when has the hair ever been truly accurate?

I actually prefer the hair Black Widow currently has as a minifig.

It resembles her appearance in Iron Man 2, not to mention her (general) comic version. I actually don't like how Black Widow looks in The Avengers, with the short(er) hair, so...

And I, too, would like to find out what set Nick Fury's gonna be in

Regards,

Mitch

I don't. Think Black Widow look like her Avengers costume , it lacks the red hourglass! It looks like her suit from IM2!

And I do think Fury is in the Spidey set, the question is which version of him? Classic or Jackson?
