If the Spiderman set is the equivalent to the fun house, maybe the set will have more than just 3 minifigs! (Nick, Spidey and Doc Ock) Can anyone guess who they will be?

Well, those are the only confirmed ones, so I'm not expecting any named characters. I'm expecting it to be a set like 4854 Doc Ock's Bank Robbery, so it might come with some civilians or police officers. That would be good actually, since so far the superheroes haven't had anyone to save but themselves.

I'm going to guess Doc Ock, Spiderman, Mary Jane, and Harry. I don't know about Nick Fury, since he has nothing to do with that scene. At least Magneto makes sense in the Wolverine set, since he's the main villain, but Nick Fury is just another random when it comes to the Spiderman series.

Actually, phantasm had a good point a few pages back. Seeing as there will be a Spidey TV show featuring Nick Fury, they would have a good reason to include him in that set.

However, I still wonder why they would release a Fury fig and not put him in an Avengers set.

Perhaps I should've added: :sarcasm: . It should be dark red.

Sorry. I'm terrible at detecting your sarcasm. It would indeed help if you would utilize those emoticons.

That's it though, her hair is dark red in the movie too! It doesn't look like she has the red hourglass belt on her torso!

It looks closer to Lego's earth orange color in most shots of her though, so it makes sense that they chose that color.

Also, I prefer the hair that TLG chose over the Dastan/Snape hair, seeing how wavy it is.

I remember watching an episode of some Spiderman show where some villain (I believe his name was Chameleon) was using some device to change into other people. I remember Nick Fury being one of them. The same episode involved Doc Ock too...

In other pics. I saw, her hair looked dark red.

Her hair changes in every pic I have seen.

I know, really. It's so confusing. In this one it kind of justifies LEGO's color choice, but the hairstyle made (a little) more sense in the one Poison Ivy posted a few pages back.

Maybe one of those continuity errors if she has been filming other things between Iron man 2 and various stints with Avengers.

Now that the new Avengers poster has been released with Samuel L Jackson/Nick Fury extremely prominent I must say I'm expecting a bolt from the blue with the Nick Fury figure, though where it's going to be I'd be wholly guessing.

I think she had long hair when filming Iron Man II, but she cut it before filming Avengers. This is a promo pic, I saw screenshots (from Avengers) in which she had short, dark red hair. It could just be lighting in the promo. :sceptic:

Nice cheap way to get Black suit batman and robin. I'll keep my eye out for these on Lego shop

and the Riddler and the Joker appear rarely together but there are recent major plotlines linking them. One of the Hush arcs if I remember right.....

The black brick is the magnet, and a few years ago it was possible to remove the figures perfectly intact. However, last year (Or 2010, I can't remember which), Hasbro ( :hmpf_bad: ) made a stink about how the magnet sets for LEGO SW were "figure packs" and that they alone had the rights to make SW figure packs. Now, the 'figs are glued to the stand, and the only way to remove them is using hot water, which might damage the fig.

About to say the exact same thing

For all we know, though unlikely, LEGO might change her hair to a different hairpiece.

Man, the finalized pics are starting to cast some doubt on my initial assessment. I had decided to skip this line in favor of some of the other themes coming out this year, but I can't deny the little boy inside of me that wants all of these superheroes. My favorite is undoubtedly the Quinjet Aerial Battle, since I like the design of the vehicle. Seems fairly movie-accurate, and it includes all my favorite heroes.

So pricey though... :cry_sad:

Has anyone done any toy store website browsing recently to see if anyone besides toys r us have got the images of the final sets in higher resolution?

It's also so strange that the Wolverine set's art seems to be mimicking the scene in which Logan launches himself at a helicopter in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but of course with comic-styled figures and Magneto thrown in.

And deadpool is of course in his red and black costume, not his creepy, overpowered, no-mouth version. Thankfully.

Regarding the magnet sets. You can release them from their magnet block with a box cutter, but you have to cut through the two studs that fix the magnet to the legs. I've managed to do this with all of my magnet sets. You're left with the studs still in the legs, but I read you can get those out. I'd but this set just for Robin!

I'm pretty sure she's final. Unless there's a big mistake on the photos from TRU.

Well Hawkeye doesn't have a quiver, and Black Widow doesn't look like she has the red hourglass!

I hope marvel sets does well so it will continue all 2013.

That way we can get Iron man 3 and Thor 2 sets!

Depends on what you can make a set out of and if it would be too much character repetition. Certainly would want new versions/variations of the figs from this year. Thor would need his helmet, iron man could be like the exclusive toy fair ones.

Same problem for DC need a new variant of Bat costume and still a wealth of well known villains to be made, superman is unfortunate as he always looks the same. But many other DC and Marvel characters to choose from.

I'm most interested just now to see if there will be a preorder bonus with the new Lego Batman game

The spider man set may include green goblin. I know they have nothing to do with each other but who seen Riddler and joker put together huh.

Huh? Spiderman and Green Goblin have a lot to do with each other... I'm guessing you've never read a Spiderman comic, watched the old cartoon, or seen the movies.
