My thoughts on the minifigs:

Alien foot soldier:Quite debated, this one, but I think it looks pretty neat! The colours don't mix that well, but they look intimidating enough to take on the avengers! :classic:

Loki:The hat looks a bit silly, but I'm warming to it. Hopefully they can provide us with Snape's hair.

Hawkeye:The torso looks good for some military mocs as possibly a PMC torso, but that bow is fantastic! Now modern day archers can take out enemies without the risk of splinters.

Black widow:The hair looks a bit light, the belt buckle doesn't affect me in the least, and the face looks old, but replace it with the Wonderwoman face if you have to.

Iron man:Why does iron man change suits? Production error or does one get destroyed? :look:

Cap: His expression isn't that bad, and he looks "old" enough for people to put him in World war 2 mocs. Plus, I like the S.H.I.E.L.D. logos on his motorbike.

Thor:Pretty uninterested with this one.

Hulk:Ditto.

Magneto:I have to say, this guy is starting to become one of my favourites. His expression is perfect, whether he is telling mutants to rise up, or throwing wolverine's motorbike at his head.

Wolverine:I like his expression, and his hair will be a first for me, but I don't like his costume. Just a little too bright to me. I wish he had a leather jacket instead, to suit the scene.

Deadpool:He doesn't suit the scene, but who cares? I never thought LEGO would make him, and especially not in his iconic outfit. Overall, my favourite fig. :classic::thumbup:

Because the Mark VII (the one with the circle) obviously has some improvement he's made to the previous suit, the Mark VI. I'm assuming he uses the Mark VI for part of the film, but then gets really messed up by the aliens, so he builds a new suit to fight them better, the Mark VII. Sort of similar to the Hulkbuster suit, I guess. :classic:

Oh, I thought the mark 6 was the one he used in previous iron man films, but, if I remember correctly, he switches to one with a triangle.

No, he used Mark V (Circle) in the beginning of IM 2, and then switched to Mark VI (Triangle) partway through.

Yeah, we had a discussion some way back, but here is the summary:

Mark 1: Destroyed in Iron Man 1 Cave Escape (Destroyed)

Mark 2: Silver prototype stolen and turned into War Machine (Existing)

Mark 3: Destroyed at the end of Iron Man 1 in final battle (Destroyed)

Mark 4: Suitcase Armor destroyed by Whiplash (Destroyed)

Mark 5: Wears in Iron Man 2 has to switch due to power source (Existing)

Mark 6: Triangle one with the new element (Existing for now)

Mark 7: As seen in trailers for the Avengers (Goes back to circle)

They may have been destroyed but Tony repaired them and has them on displayed in his workshop!!!

You flipped two Marks though! The mark 4 is the one he wears in the beginning and the drunk party/throw down with Rhody, and the mark 5 is the suitcase one! It's okay, everyone makes that mistake!

I am really hoping we get more Batman in the summer to coincide with the film. Although the story continues to be dark, I'm hoping LEGO decides to include a film Bane, who is really not as frightening visually as the Joker from four years ago. As for the current Batman and Avengers, although the sets aren't a priority many of them will hopefully fall in to my collection.

Onnnnnnnnnnn...ffffffff Topic: Also, I recreated a little "trailer" for you guys: Hope you like it.

Now that you mention the first one, I can't help but think that Stark's morals haven't really changed:

"Since I've seen what my weapons are being used for, I won't make missiles anymore, only bulletproof suits of iron that shoot lasers!":tongue:

The Marvel Microsite is now up! :sweet: Sadly, there is barely anything to do on it, except look at the characters stats. I'm also bummed out that the Spiderman exclusive isn't on there. :sadnew:

Yeah, we've been talking about it for the past few pages! Not every minifigure is on the site, so I think that a figure will be introduced one at a time until the release date!!!!!!

Gosh, I need to be more observant. :sadnew:

LEGO has done the "introduce one at a time" thing before, with the re-release of the Harry Potter theme.

Dude, seriously, stop shouting. And I doubt that it will be this way. With HP, we had a map with silhouettes where it started out with one figure and then slowly started revealing the others. Here, we see most of the figs right off the bat. The only ones missing are Hawkeye, Black Widow (who is in the Quinjet, I think), Iron Man Mark VI, Nick Fury, Spidey, and Doc Ock, and there doesn't seem to be any space for them in that picture.

Still no sign of the sets on US S@H. :hmpf_bad: By the way, did anyone notice that the Batmobile isn't showing up among the Super Heroes sets? I was worried it was sold out, but fortunately you can still find it on there.

Sorry, I'm just so excited for this wave! I think the picture will expand, and I think Hawkeye is also in the Quinjet.

Sorry, but he's not. We've seen the finalized, official pictures. Hawkeye is in the Hulk set and the Cosmic Cube Escape set. Do we really need three Hawkeye appearances anyway? There are enough repeats as it is.

I am too, but that doesn't keep me from posting in a mature manner. And yes, he might be, along with Fury.

We're talking about the picture on the microsite. And no, we certainly don't need more than two 'eyes.

Let's keep the mini-modding to a minimum, Oky.

Longbottem's been warned before about this issue and if it happens again, there may be more than a warning. So let's not abuse punctuation, neville. Punctuation is our friend and doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

I'd agree that if they planned on adding figs gradually to the site, there'd be outlines or spaces et up for them. Seems odd that they'd leave some characters out, though.

I know this has been said before, but the latest Spidey tv show trailer has Nick Fury in it along withe Iron man and Cap, further enforceing the idea that Sam Jackson with an eyepatch is in the Spidey set!!!!

errrrrrrrr

1. Sam Jackson Nick Fury wouldn't be used because the likeness of the character is strictly with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

2. It's not be proven that the sets are based on the show....

Okay. Sorry, CM.

1. Uh, not it's not. As it was pointed out before, Ultimate Nick Fury always looks like that/him.

2. It doesn't have to be based on the show to feature elements from it (case in point: Dark Knight sets). Besides, it could be based on the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.

Thanks, Oky. Ultimate Spidey would be great, but I believe the press release said classic, correct me if I'm wrong. What kid is going recognize classic Fury, when in every form of media released to kids portrays him as Ultimate Fury A.K.A. Sam Jackson with an eyepatch.
