NEWS FOR THE BATMAN VISUAL DICTIONARY: On the DK website it has a final cover art pic with the minifig.

It is *Drumroll*: Batman in that electric suit thing from the new game!

I liek it but I was sorta hoping for a TDK one...

Good find!

Yup, "Electro Suit Batman". The link I provided is the correct direct link (the link Piemaster1446 provided IS the correct adress, but gets cut off due to the double comma's. You have to copy it all).

Sweet, great find. I'll take any unreleased videogame look over a rehash of something we already have. Movie look would have been great but hopefully we actually get it in a set.

Well, that Batman fig is disappointing. I guess hoping for something a little more abstract was not a worth while endeavor. Oh Lego! Please give me my Hugo Strange minifig!!

Well, there goes my TDK theory. Oh well, this fig is also pretty interesting. Like all Visual Dictionary figs, the use for this one will be quite limited, but it could have been worse. The book itself looks pretty good too, so I'll definitely be getting this.

Just to clarify: Is this the best picture of the fig that we have (the real fig, I mean, not the videogame render)?

And yes, I too am hoping for a Marvel Dictionary! :moar:

The polybags look pretty good. I was hoping for a mini-quinjet. Too bad they chose the two most common Avengers for the other two polybags, but oh well. I guess it will be good to have an extra Thor to fight the third Loki.

I for one am very pleased with the choice of minifigure included in the Batman Visual Dictionary, we finally get one of Batman's 'special' suits in LEGO. And what better to fight those villains with than electricity?

Like Iron-Man said a few posts back, a Marvel Visual Dictionary would be a great opportunity to release a Nick Fury minifigure (let's hope they take it!).

Is it safe to say that we won't be getting any DKR sets this year? This is pretty disappointing since I really wanted a Nolan's Bane minifig, and minifig scale Tumblers and Batpods. I guess it is always possible that Lego would release sets based on the movie either in the fall or in January, but wouldn't it be logical to release them at the same time as the movie? Oh well, Lego probably figures that the movie will boost Lego Batman sales anyway, even if there isn't a specific set based off of it.

The new visual dictionary looks cool though, I looked through the SW one with my little cousin and I was surprised at some of the little-known information that they had in there, and also the lack of some info.
