June 1, 201212 yr Not at all. There have been many talks since the release of these sets and many people don't like it. The best solution I have seen is the use of the Sleepy Head's hair
June 1, 201212 yr 30162 is up on Lego.com http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6024637.pdf No need for a new thread when this is being discussed in the current discussion thread. Merged.
June 1, 201212 yr I've found that the S7 Computer Nerd's hair looks even better. Ooooo! I hadn't thought of that one. I have an extra computer nerd and an extra pinstripe suited civilian guy from Alien Conquest. I'm thinking I may have the fixings for a decent out of armor Tony Stark. Maybe even a Matching Pepper Potts. Edited June 1, 201212 yr by Faefrost
June 2, 201212 yr What do you guys reckon the chance of getting comics based Avengers sets soon are? I would like to think we wouldn't just get Iron Man 3 and possibly Thor 2 sets next year. Maybe sets based on the Earth's Mightiest Heroes series?
June 2, 201212 yr Maybe sets based on the Earth's Mightiest Heroes series? Is that an animated series. I havent seen it, but if it is animated, i hope they dont end uip like the star wars CW minifigs. The new spider man isnt that bad even with its source content being an animated series. We probaly will get sets based of Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, both schedule for a 2013 release .
June 2, 201212 yr I just saw a NEW TV commercial for the LEGO Avengers. It was kinda wierd and long but it had the Nick Fury minifig in it as well as Bruce Banner each for a split second before Bruce turned into Hulk and Fury got into a ship I think. Banner had short messy black hair, I couldnt see his face but he had a bare chest and tan legs. Fury looked like the one in the poster. After reading this I can't help but think that maybe just maybe Lego has a large exculsive for later this year. Like the Black Pearl was. It would be cool to get a secret set about Christmas time.
June 2, 201212 yr It is the same hair piece. For your previous request. Look at the Licensed picture/funnies threads. There's plenty of pictures of Tony Stark with that hair. I'm so sorry to be a pain but I just looked through both of those topics and didn't find Iron Man with the Robin hair... (I did see him with Agent Chase hair though) Edited June 2, 201212 yr by refriedbeans
June 2, 201212 yr Could someone explain to me the concept of the Quinjet and explain to what version LEGO based their's off of and how accurate it is/how reasonably-scaled it is to minifigs?
June 2, 201212 yr Could someone explain to me the concept of the Quinjet and explain to what version LEGO based their's off of and how accurate it is/how reasonably-scaled it is to minifigs? Lego base their Quinjet on the one featured in the Avengers film. It's pretty well scaled to minifigures, with seating areas and such, but does seem rather big when they are just standing next to it.
June 2, 201212 yr Don't know if anyone mentioned it already. I got the PAB model of Batman and Robin today, and their symbols come on a sticker sheet, the bricks aren't printed.
June 3, 201212 yr Does anyone know how much the PAB Batman & Robin costs (in USD)? Also, can you still get an Avengers poster by taking a picture with a minifig cutout in-store? My calendar says the promotion runs from May 21 to June 3. If so, how does it work? Do you show your picture on facebook to the cashier? Could someone explain to me the concept of the Quinjet and explain to what version LEGO based their's off of and how accurate it is/how reasonably-scaled it is to minifigs? The concept? It's a jet issued by S.H.I.E.L.D. for the Avengers to ride in. The set is fairly accurate to the one in the movie and well scaled to minifigs, although I think it could have been a bit bigger since the cockpit should be able to fit two pilots, but only seats one. Also, the one in the movie had big rotors on the wings for the craft to hover where Lego's version only has big SHIELD stickers. Aside from that, it's pretty spot-on.

Do you show your picture on facebook to the cashier? I got mine by just asking an employee there for one. He said that the promotion didn't really take off, and that TLC said that they can give them out for that reason.
June 3, 201212 yr Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes is the latest Avengers cartoon and it is superb. Essentially what they've done is taken all the really good Marvel events from the comics' whole history and distill it into one cartoon. They're also not afraid to bring in guest stars like the Fantastic Four. I would LOVE sets from this. Then we could get a Black Panther figure. Or even better an Ultron or Kang the Conquerer. I don't know if anyone's said on here but the Ultimate Spider-Man TV show is also quite good! Am over the moon we're getting an Iron Fist minifigure. Never dreamed we'd get one. AND one question. The Thor promo figure, how will it be released? I'm desperate for a third Thor torso for an MOC (making Beta Ray Bill and Thunderstrike!) Edited June 3, 201212 yr by MattZitron
June 3, 201212 yr AND one question. The Thor promo figure, how will it be released? I'm desperate for a third Thor torso for an MOC (making Beta Ray Bill and Thunderstrike!) By promo figure, you're talking about the polybag, right? We don't have much info about the Thor polybag, but if you're in the US, it will probably be at Target, Walmart, or Toys'R'Us during Christmas or Halloween time, and if you're in the UK, it might be a newspaper promo. This is based on past knowledge, though.

June 3, 201212 yr Could someone explain to me the concept of the Quinjet and explain to what version LEGO based their's off of and how accurate it is/how reasonably-scaled it is to minifigs? The concept? It's a supersonic capable VTOL transport used by the Avengers as the majority of their team members do not fly on their own. The comic book version was one of the more consistently drawn aircraft for a few decades. it's purpose is not unlike the more well known X-Men Blackbird. The Lego Quinjet is based on the design featured in the recent Avegers movie. In that case it was a small to medium sixed VTOL transport aircraft owned and operated by Shield from thei Helicarrier base. It is About the size nd utility of a Blackhawk helicopter. Bigger than a fighter but smaller than an Osprey. The Lego model is surprisingly close in size and scale, and is probably s close as you could get using minifigs instead of scale figures. It would be cool to get a secret set about Christmas time. I am thinking, like with POTC 4, where we got the Black Pearl when the DVD came out, maybe we will see a large Avengers set (featuring Nick Fury) when the Avengers comes out on DVD in the Fall sometime. I am also hoping, next month at the 2012 SDCC we get news on the next wave and maybe a few cool promos or so.
June 4, 201212 yr Take a look of These new Lego Batman 2 pics (on the 13th pic there is Cyborg) http://www.jeuxvideo.com/screenshots/images/00043/00043274_000.htm
June 4, 201212 yr Take a look of These new Lego Batman 2 pics (on the 13th pic there is Cyborg) The list that confirms most of the characters can be found here.
June 4, 201212 yr Does anyone else think its odd what time of the year we are getting this Spiderman set? I mean, not a single other Marvel (or DC, for that matter) has been reported of getting another wave this year (correct me if I'm wrong on that) and yet we get one single Spiderman set, that's not even big enough to pass as the 'Black Pearl' of the line? I think that's a bit suspicious....I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lego said 'Surprise! There's actually two other Marvel/DC sets being released on the exact same day!'
June 4, 201212 yr I would definitely be surprised if that happened seeing as there has been absolutely no word or pictures of any other set. The only thing that gives me some hope is the fact that no one saw any picture of Palpatine's Arrest until it was on the shelves in Germany, but even in that case we knew it was coming. I will cross my fingers and hope you are right though because I could use a Nick Fury and/or SHIELD agents, oh and a Bruce Banner would be nice to

A Maria Hill fig would be nice too... I know it doesn't seem likely, but it happened with the Funhouse, didn't it?....
June 4, 201212 yr Cross our fingers!!! A Maria Hill fig would be nice too... I know it doesn't seem likely, but it happened with the Funhouse, didn't it?.... Ye the funhouse was a surprise but right now the sets are equal 6 for DC and 6 for Marvel. Unless Lego are going to release a few more sets to counter Lego batman 2 and Lego batman the visual dictionary.
