Vindicare Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 (edited) Is that a custom Riddler, on eBay? If not, what set does he come on? I looked at the sets a few pages back, but didn't see him... Edited November 11, 2011 by Legocrazy81 Quote
Clone OPatra Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 We haven't seen the set he comes in yet, but we knew that he would exist since he was on the list of characters to be released. Quote
sok117 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I like the new two-face, except his face is really weird, I wish they would have made it green instead of pink. The new riddler is 100% awesome though, I'm okay with the grey hat because he just looks so cool! I hope he gets a question mark cane though. Quote
tj19941994 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I wonder if the same guy who left the iPhone 4 in a bar was the same guy who left these figures somewhere Quote
Oky Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 It is the Batman you can see on the game artwork Indeed, I believe this is the Batman fig that will be included in the Batmobile and Batwing sets, so the SDCC Batman is still an exclusive, unless it is included in the rumored TDKR sets (which is likely IMO). Brickmamba Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 blue batman and riddler yes! that eBayer wants $100 for 6 figs, wow just wow talk about daylight robbery Quote
surrideo Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I'd much prefer a smarter dressed Riddler and I'll bow to the knowledge that the hat might be authentically coloured but it's just not aesthetically pleasing. The Two Face is so ugly though it totally works, which remembering the comics is the whole point. In saying that I have very few of the original run and will gladly snap up all Batmen and villains apart from maybe the Batcave. May hold out for a new Arkham or similar Quote
Miss Kyle Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I am utterly pleased with the new designs. Roll on January! Quote
wonkyeye Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Here is Catwoman without her mask and Jokers alternate face. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Joker's expression is just superb I wasn't all that fussed about the Batwing vs Jokercoptor but that is one good looking minifigure! Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Two-Face looks a bit better now, and I like his new face. The different halves are a little subtle though. Not really, it's just the lighting, you can see it better with this one: On another note, that alternate Joker face is creepy, but I like Catwoman's. And on another note, on the e-Bay picture it seems like the black Batman is holding a Heroica sword, which of course doesn't fit. What if there is a seperate mold for Riddler's staff and this just happens to be a mistaken accessory, like Batman's sword. Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Come to think of it, I think the new Two-Face is actually quite nice. We've all gotten used to the Nolan villains and forgotten what they originally looked like! And, thanks to Superficial Username for the better Two-Face picture. Quote

Though, honestly, LEGO is what first introduced me to most of the Batman characters (with exceptions like Robin, Batgirl, Ace, Penguin, Joker, Catwoman, and Riddler), so Black/White is how I think of Two-Face, but that probably does apply to most everyone else. I've gotten used to this colorscheme though, and I would strongly advise that you do NOT say purple and orange look badly together because: EDIT: Just found this, look at Batman's legs Hmmm.... I think he does. And, a question mark cane would not only be awesome!, but essential. Quote
Aanchir Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Here is Catwoman without her mask and Jokers alternate face. Catwoman and Joker look excellent. The only complaint I would make is that a black whip would probably be better for Catwoman, and would be a great accessory to have in general. But as mentioned regarding Riddler, there's no guarantee that they'll have the right accessories. One of the first pics we saw of Series 6 minifigures that "escaped" from the Chinese production facility had the alien figure with the wrong torso. Quote
LandShark Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Finally, better pictures. Opinion time. The Joker's alternate face really works for me. Catwoman's pretty good, and in a cheap set. The Riddler was one I was really looking forward to, but I'm a little underwhelmed. I like the hat and the belt, but the muscle printing kind of ruins it for me. If he's in a good set, with a good Harley, then I'll get it. Otherwise, I'm not so sure. As for Two-Face. Well... he's just too bright. The orange and purple, as much as it defended it, looks ridiculous. Yes, I said it. A darker purple and more faded orange would have saved it. The face is okay, though, and the rest of the set looks pretty good. I'll probably end up getting it. Overall, not great, but not terrible either. I'm still really wishing for some Arkham-verse minifigs, but I doubt it will happen. Quote

Agreed about Catwoman's whip, they could at least make it gray which I think is more fitting. And even though I hope that Riddler does have a special mold for his cane (even though an ornament on top of an existing staff would be nice, I'd think it would be too tall), I'd like to think that Mexico is more consitant than China, but that's still a great example. And even if Riddler does just end up with a pole, I'd still be happy that they at least recognized his staff. Quote
badboytje88 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Found these two. Not sure if they have been posted already. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I don't know about WW, but Riddler has been linked to. I don't think he was ever posted though... Quote
surrideo Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I could look at pictures from other sets but Im wondering for anyone that owns all the Batman Figures from the last line what are the differences that can be seen at this time. Is it, in the main the yellow bat symbol being used on the chest rather than the comic book esque/movie bat symbol? It seems strange than wonder woman gets printed boots and Superman and Batman don't/maybe can't(impractical)? Quote
Oky Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Joker's expression is just superb I wasn't all that fussed about the Batwing vs Jokercoptor but that is one good looking minifigure! Agreed. This face surely makes up for the rather strange looking other side! Not so sure about Catwoman. I liked the sassy expression of the first one. Riddler looks good, yet disappointing. I hope that his hat is just a prototype and will be a different color in the final sets, and that there will be a question mark add-on for his staff, but I'm not too hopeful, seeing how final all the other figs from that seller look. I'm still really wishing for some Arkham-verse minifigs, but I doubt it will happen. The purple used on Two-Face is, to my knowledge, the darkest purple LEGO has ever had (268 Medium Lilac/Bricklink's Dark Purple). And it's certainly the darkest on the current palette. I think it looks fine. The lighting of that pic makes it seem way brighter than it is in real life. I think Riddler is pretty cool as well, but of course he does seem awfully muscular for a character who almost exclusively relies on his wits. Incidentally, his hands also seem to be Medium Lilac, which would make his set the first to have minifigure hands in that color. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 EDIT: Just found this, look at Batman's legs Hmmm.... Not to sure if I like that... I have to admit that it looks more accurate, but it doesn't look right to me. Perhaps I'm already used to our old "Batmen". Quote

I don't think that this is final, I saw a Wonder Woman one shortly after and she had an white stripe going down her boots, and I am not very familiar with the character, but I don't think that's really there. tj19941994 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Here is Catwoman without her mask and Jokers alternate face. I have a feeling that Because of the new mould for catwomans mask we will be able to see her eyes if they are at the we put the non-mask face at the front. Quote
