Miss Kyle Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I know right! this bugs me too :/ It mainly bugs my purse... Quote
fyrmedhatt Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) I don't see why these sets will not be released soon, as there is already a Bricklink seller that has several of the minifigures of the line for sale, and no, not the preview figs but the ones included with the sets. While I know nothing of the ways he procured the figures, the fact that they are around is indicative of the production runs are well on their way. GuntherThePenguin Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I believe that they will come out in December. I mean, there release date is January and Lego (and especially TRU) has a tendency to release sets a few weeks early. Quote

Miss Kyle Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Oh dear gods, Wonder Woman's hairpiece is so, so pretty! I can't wait to get my hands on these figs!! Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I completly agree with you, Miss Kyle! The Wonder Woman fig is truly beautiful. Quote

Brickity Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 (edited) The production plant in Mexico is located in Nuevo León, and by pure casualty 99% of the guys selling the figures live in Nuevo León. I contacted an assistant/worker from the LEGO distributor in Mexico and she got informed that some sort of collector is selling the figs (from the plant) Or it could be also that as I said previously, the laborers may be grabbing some while in production. I have to recognize my country isn't that honest. But hey, that's my speculation based on the daily Mexican life. Edited November 19, 2011 by Otherworld Quote
has a differing opinion Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Might be late, but I found Harley, Luthor, and Jet-pack Batman! Edit: Okay, I'm late but I haven't seen them actually posted, only linked to Darn, I thought that batarang was a new type of gun! There's always brickarms, I guess. These figures look wonderful, I just want tosee the goons and the police officer now. By coincidence, I thought the walky talky in the police officer's hand was a truncheon. Quote
Delta 38 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Wait, is Batman's "jet pack" a new piece? The figures look nice, but Bane still looks a little odd in black. I'm used to seeing him in dark blue. Quote

vexorian Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I was never impressed by Lex Luthor. I hate superman's guts, Wonder Woman is passable and with 3 minifigs that set is going to cost a fortune. But man, I think I am going to head towards getting that awesome green mech. If I had a CC it would be so easy, I have this feeling some scalpers out there will have loose mechs cheap because they get the set only to re-sell the minifig. Oh well. Hope in 2013 we get a Brainiac set. Quote
Algernon Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Looking good. Catwoman's set looks much better now, it's good to see purple again. My favorite is still Lex Luthor's power armor, closely followed by the Batwing set. Since they're both smaller sets they should be reasonably priced, too! Any indication of when these will be released? Quote
Clone OPatra Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Isn't it a tad strange that Batman and Superman have the exact same face (just a with a white stripe on Batman's)? There's nothing really wrong with it, but it struck me as a bit odd, just as I find LEGO double-using the heads of Tamina and Hermione for Leia and Padme. Since these characters are just based on comic renditions, which do change, it isn't too bad, but still interesting. Quote
vexorian Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 It is odd, but then again Bruce Wayne and Super Man's faces never looked too different in any of the cartoons I grew up with. Most importantly: I am not really liking the orange expression lines. Quote
