This probably means that the Superman set is out! :classic:

Hopefully, but another Mexican factory worker probably just got a hold of them, and somebody bought the figures. Or the factory worker just had good photography skills.

But if it is out:

I found the new Super Heroes Batwing Battle over Gotham City (6863) on toysrus.com. Here's a link. $40 isn't bad.

I hope that's a mark-up, I was really sure it would be $30. I suppose it includes The Joker, so they think that they can do whatever they want with it. Maybe with some people, but to me, he's just another killer clown :hmpf_bad:

I still want him though because I hate clowns!

Added more pics from the Super Heroes sets to my BS gallery

Warning pictures can be 2500+ pxl

The Folders still need to go public....

Enjoy! :pir-laugh: :pir-laugh: :pir-laugh:

Do you mean that you purchased the sets, or this that this is just a collection of pictures we've already seen? I'm interested either way though, but if it's the former, I'd really love to know. :classic:

Batwing Battle is now in stock on TRU! It's still marked up to $39.99, but I sacrificed the extra $10 for my favorite villain. I threw in a couple of small purchases for my cousins to reach the $49 free shipping minimum. Also, if you order it now make sure you're signed up for their rewards program- you get 10% back on all purchases through December 24th.

And here...we...GO!

No I don't think it is as it was just put up and it takes a few weeks for the markup.

To my knowledge, it wasn't available for purchase before I posted (it, along with the two constraction figures have been out of stock up until this evening).

I can hope, but I'm doubtful. I was actually surprised that it had been (supposedly) been going for $30 before, because I've been comparing the price points to Harry Potter. Maybe this means that the Batcave will be upped ten dollars to match the Hogwarts Express price, or preferably lowered ten dollars to match the Burrow price. I doubt the latter, but hopefully not the former. :sceptic:

Thanks for those pics. Are they printed pieces in the joker set or has someone done an extraordinary job placing stickers and then photoshopping the edges of them?

These pictures are rendered with a computer like they do with Sponge Bob, Architecture and Pixar's cars series!

True, but renders are used for many of LEGO's themes these days, and yet stickers are still recognizable. The only themes where I know TLG tends to have their renders deviate strongly from the actual sets are BIONICLE and Hero Factory, in which the high-res images tend to have "battle damage". The earlier BIONICLE sets also would have certain pieces "hinge" along points that are solid plastic in the real thing.

Of course, sometimes without a high-res image you can't tell the difference between stickers and printing. For instance, if you view this image at full size, you can tell that his eyes are printed and most of his other parts are stickered (the edges of the stickers are visible). But when viewed at only 20% of its size (which my browser scales it to unless you click to zoom in), it's almost impossible to tell whether the flag is printed or stickered, and the same for his eyes.

The LEGO Super Heroes webpage is up

It also shows a couple new accessories for characters, like Riddler's crowbar

The 'match the characters to their names' game includes the Two-Face Henchmen and the Joker Henchman, but no mention of Henchmen for Riddler or Harley. If this game is any indicator of the minifigures included in the sets, then I think it's safe to say that the Riddler and Harley sets will only include 2 minifigures each (or 3, if they decide to include Robin in one of them). This suggests to me that the two sets will probably be on the medium side for size, and the fact that we haven't pictures for either of them yet might mean that they're exclusives.

In any case, I can't wait to see that Riddler set! :moar:

1. Unless they decide on Batman

2. Probably, but it could be only one set. Let's not forget it could be Arkham

3. I'm sure you're right about that

4. Me too! :moar:

I meant that they would be two separate sets, each with Batman and either Harley/Riddler. Although it would probably make more sense for it to be one Arkham set, since most exclusives are usually in the 35-50 USD range (but they will have to downsize the set a bit for it to fit into that range :sceptic:).

I just hope we get an Arkham Asylum as good as the last one!

Nice to see the website looking much tidier and up and running. So I know you can order the Batwing site off Tru.com, is that to most peoples knowledge the only set in the public domain at this time?

According to a comment on brickset, somebody found all of the sets except for the Batcave somewhere in New York.

I hope it's true....

Prepare for down-size, just like everything else (except for Catwoman's motorcycle and Two-Face's truck  )

So, being a 1x1 printed tile, there's gotta be an extra twoface coin in the batmobile set, eh? Gotta update my classic twoface.

I hope so, especially if it isn't the scarred side. That way, I could draw the scratches on one, and have both sides for pictures. But even if not, I could always put the extra in the Batcave. :classic:

And I thought TRU's mark up was ridiculous... :sceptic:

A true case of " And the horse you rode in on" The mark up on the Catwoman and Superman sets is quite something even taking into account the "free" shipping. Ah Christmas! Fair play if they get both prices, supply and demand, but no way would I pay a % mark up like that in pounds. Our currency conversion is already awful :hmpf:
