SoupOrFishOil Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) I meant that they would be two separate sets, each with Batman and either Harley/Riddler. Although it would probably make more sense for it to be one Arkham set, since most exclusives are usually in the 35-50 USD range (but they will have to downsize the set a bit for it to fit into that range ). I just hope we get an Arkham Asylum as good as the last one! Brick Heroes has reposted the French prices for the DC and Marvel sets, and here's what I noticed based on the assumption prices are going to be equal (DC on left, Marvel on right): *6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase € 14.00 = 6865 Captain America Cycle € 14.00 (price really unknown, pardon this assumption) *6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex € 26.30 = 6866 Wolverine Chopper € 26.30 *Unknown (Harley and Riddler?) = 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape € 26.30 *6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City € 38.20 = Unknown (Spider-man and Ock?) *6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase € 57.70 = 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout € 57.70 *6860 The Batcave € 83.30 = 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle I think that I might of found the (French) price points for the two missing sets. Time will tell... Edited December 9, 2011 by Superficial Username Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I don'y know if this was mentioned earlier but I was at TRU last night and the bogo sale was excluding superheroes sets. They didn't have any but if it said that they should be out any day at TRU. Quote
Delta 38 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hmm, the Riddler's on the new site, and yet we've seen no trace of him being in a set. If he is in an exclusive set, it's been covered up rather well. I hope the crowbar isn't a replacement for his staff. Quote

Although I have a hard time picturing Riddler and Harley in a set together (besides something like Arkham or the Batcave), it would definitely make sense for a € 26.30 set. Stormer13 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Well my thoughts are that Arkham may be the mystery set due to the fact the only batman sets we have so far are from the original line from 2006 which is when the first arkham came out. Harley Quinn would fit in well due to her working there and the riddler being from the original arkham (Plus the crowbar could be used to escape his cell) And the Gaurd minifig can be used here plus batman and robin so there is a good chance it could be Arkham. (I just Love the new riddler tho) Quote

Thank you I do think that Riddler and Harley are a strange match-up, but better together than neither at all. I don't know about € 26.30 though, that's the price of the Superman set, and that's selling for 20 USD I believe, unless it went up to $30 We'll have to see though, and at least we'll be getting to great figures, and maybe even a blue Batman with a cape in a cheaper set. Wouldn't it be great if LEGO was keeping a figure in Arkham secret from us, like Scarecrow, Nightwing, or Green Lantern? Probably won't, but I can hope. (I just Love the new riddler tho:wub::wub:) Oh, it would be so great to get a Dr. Harleen Quinzel figure! I really doubt that it's going to happen, though. Maybe a generic doctor, like Superficial Username suggested? Also, the Guard figure appears in the Two-Face truck, and the Arkham security guards usually look considerably different from police officers and bank guards, so if it is an Arkham set, then it probably doesn't include any guards. I don't know, he could still have the brown pole (not that that is much better) and could only be holding a somewhat random piece from whatever set he comes in. That's definitely possible. A great solution for the cane would be a yellow Harry Potter wand. In any case, I think the cane goes better with 'suit' Riddler, and the crowbar actually fits 'spandex' Riddler pretty well. Thank you I do think that Riddler and Harley are a strange match-up, but better together than neither at all. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Superman set was 30 USD (Licensed themes are always a bit more expensive than non-licensed themes. ), but I'll probably end up shelling out the money for it anyway! Wouldn't it be great if LEGO was keeping a figure in Arkham secret from us, like Scarecrow, Nightwing, or Green Lantern. Probably not, but I can hope. That's right, we haven't seen a Scarecrow set yet! After the great rehaul they gave Ivy, Joker, and Bane, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Scarecrow! Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Nightwing needs to pop up. Agreed. If Arkham is a set as has been rumoured, then Nightwing, for me at least, would be a necessity. Quote
Lothos Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 In a perfect world we'd see Batman and the outsiders. But it's not. But hopefully we'll see NIghtwing, and maybe some other "D listers" as it were. Animal man, Buster Gold, maybe a whole set of Green Lanterns from the corp. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I am temporarilly interupting the Arkham speculation to bring you this from Brickipedia: Even the henchman has backprinting! Quote
Oky Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Awesome! I'm really hoping we'll get a henchmen battle pack! As for Arkham, while it would seem like a logical choice, I think it would come with different guards, and we'd know about those by now. Quote
Peanuts Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Even the henchman has backprinting! Wow! I gotta say I love what they did with the Henchmen, especially the Joker guy looks astounding, far better than the original ones. I too would want to see a new Scarecrow figure, but for now I'm hoping we'll get Riddler and Harley without some more vehicles. I'd have prfered to get Riddler with a suit, though, instead of the jumpsuit. But I'm already glad they gave him the bowler. I'm wondering if they might include some more of those detailed Henchmen with Harley or the Riddler. Both would be awesome IMO. I have doubts about Riddler and Harley in one set, even if it's an Arkham Asylum set. I just think Harley would rather be put together with the Joker, if she's together with another villain. Quote

Tamamono Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Even the henchman has backprinting! Ooh, what spiffy printing! Great attention to detail. I have doubts about Riddler and Harley in one set, even if it's an Arkham Asylum set. I just think Harley would rather be put together with the Joker, if she's together with another villain. I think it would be logical for them to make a Harley and Joker set for 2013 (or even late 2012), but we're probably going to see one with Harley and Riddler or even just Harley this year. Looks like the sets are starting to pop up in stores this photo comes from Delaware I think, so they should hit Canada soon If my eyes don't deceive me, I think that Superman set is only $22! Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) As the one who just brought you the suggested Arkham price-point, I am pleased to bring you this (from Brickipedia)- I might just skip the Batwing for this! sok117 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) words, fail me, cannot describe... :cry_happy: :cry_happy: I'm actually crying right now. Okay time to collect my thoughts, thats an action-packed set alright! Definitely shot to the top of the list. Theres an extra riddler head and bowler hat! , I had an idea of doing something similar to this with the indiana jones tracks. oh well. And only 39.99??!?!?!?!?!?! thats way to good to be true! But another batcycle sucks, and worst of all it's pretty , overall a must have! Edited December 10, 2011 by sok117 Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Just found the price and it's only $40 for 380 pieces! The Batwing can wait a while.... Quote

Wow, look at that set! LEGO S@H lists it as 40 USD with 380 pieces, so it's a tad overpriced (probably a TRU exculsive), but it's got some great pieces (purple barrel, rollercoaster track) and five rare 'figs! Also, if you look in the little green window on the far left hand side, you can see a Riddler hat and head (one of those fortune telling games), so I'm assuming we'll get two of them! Quote
surrideo Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 That is so impressive they kept this set quiet for so long. Some price point for the figures that are included . Much more tempted to buy this than the Batwing too. Thanks for the pics. Quote
Tamamono Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 And LEGO S@H lists it for availability on December 15th! (at least in the US) Quote
just2good Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) 6857 looks gorgeous! And it's only $40? That's a steal! The description at S@H says it's "hard to find", which means it's an exclusive. I suspect that it will probably be a Walmart/Target exclusive in the US, and (hopefully, since it will be overpriced) not a Toys'R'Us exclusive. EDIT: Also, in the set's bottom-left booth, there's an extra Riddler face/hat! Is it a mistake? Edited December 10, 2011 by just2good Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 More Pictures: I love this redux. It keeps getting more and more sixties Batman-esque. Quote
