Thego Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) That hideout is a great set! As someone else mentioned, it's a shame that the Riddler doesn't have a cane. I'd love that piece to be made by TLG. Or are they suggesting that jemmy he is carrying is meant to be a cane? Edited December 10, 2011 by Thego Quote
Housey98 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Anyone mind giving me a link to the superheroes theme at Lego S@H? Can't seem to find it Quote
Cammo Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I just wanted the Riddler, Batman and the Joker and since they come in one cheap set, this is a must-have for me BTW there's already a small review of the Catwomanset on Youtube by a guy named 'LEGOcentric'. He will be doing the Superman set and the Two-Face Chase later... Here's the link: Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Oh, man so that's where the Riddler comes in to the series eh ? Right now, equal number one set with the Bat Cave....no actually this one edges it out...but only just. I hope it's not a smegging TRU exclusive. Anyway, cool looking play set and another grey Batman. (plus Robin doesn't look camp ) Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Really cool figure heavy set, definite buy! Quote

Two-Face Chase is also in stock as of now! I'm gonna hold back on the rest of the line to see if I can catch them in store at TRU or on Shop at Home, preferrably the latter so I can get the Fun House as well. Omicron Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I like how they are using the crowbar to act as Riddler's staff due to the shape. But would it hurt to change the color? Yellow? Gold? Brown? -Omi Quote
Masked Builder Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I just want to know why these weren't in my ToysRUs yesterday. I would have bought some. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Does it look like the old Riddler head in the Riddle/Fortune machine to anyone else? Quote
Thego Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Anyone mind giving me a link to the superheroes theme at Lego S@H? Can't seem to find it It's not on UK S@H. Link is on this thread for US S@H. Quote
Commander Adama Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Oh I cannot wait for these to hit the shops in the UK, but when will they be released? Quote

Darth Hagrid Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape on S@H (HQ pics) Wow! LEGO actually CAN keep secrets! Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Oh, my-oh-my! That set is awesome!!! It is surprising though that Lego could keep this such a secret! This is definetly going on my X-mas wish list!!!! Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I love that funhouse set! It really does appear that the buildings are quite 60s based for their aethestics, that wouldn't look out of place in the 60s Tv show. I am reminded also by Arkham City too, the Joker's funhouse level in particular. This really seems like a good way to get several key villains, along with a cheaper way to get the Dymanic Duo, in a villan-centric building. This one is a must-have for me. Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) I have to admit, I kinda wish that Lego would stop making Batman sets unless there is going to be new figs, like Clayface or Batgirl. Although, I suppose it's nice for people who missed the Batman sets the first time around... But for those of us who did purchase them the first time around are kind of hoping for some new heroes, ie The Flash and Aquaman. But, I do appreciate Lego redoing The Riddler with that awesome hat and The Joker looks way better, also! Edited December 10, 2011 by GuntherThePenguin Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I love it! This is definitely more of what I was hoping to see out of the line. I can only hope that more modular sets are on the way (*hint* Fortress of Solitude!). I love that funhouse set! It really does appear that the buildings are quite 60s based for their aethestics, that wouldn't look out of place in the 60s Tv show. I am reminded also by Arkham City too, the Joker's funhouse level in particular. I agree. I'm not sure if it's intentional on Lego's part or not, but I love the way these sets draw from different areas of the Batman franchise. When I saw the "Riddler box", I immediately thought of this from Batman Forever: Quote
the fixer Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Awesome set! What a nice surprise... I love it!!! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Take a closer look at the funhouse escape set....there are TWO Riddler heads with his trademark hat. Roll on 2012, I can't wait for these sets. Quote
Brickmamba Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) oh my that fun house set got to be one of the best ones yet, riddler, harley and joker in the same box, brilliant a must buy! Edited December 11, 2011 by Brickmamba Quote
Algernon Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 That is definitely an attractive set. I do feel like it's a little bare, though, even for the price. But a TON of great parts more than make up for it. So excited to see these beginning to pop up in stores. I can't wait to see those reviews! Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I really want that Funhouse set!!!!! Quote
Lyichir Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Take a closer look at the funhouse escape set....there are TWO Riddler heads with his trademark hat. Roll on 2012, I can't wait for these sets. I love the extra one, being in one of those animatronic fortune-telling machines! This new set is absolutely amazing. I love how vibrant and colorful it is while still conveying a sense of danger. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The Funhouse does indeed look awesome. Three villains! Batman and Robin. An extra Riddler hat! All in a set that is very reminiscent of the 60s series (Or Scooby-doo cartoons ). I think this may be the Batman set I'm getting. Since this wasn't in the retailer catalogs, I wonder what store got this as an exclusive. I also hope there's still a Green Lantern set still hiding in the first wave somewhere... Quote
