VenVoi Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Since this wasn't in the retailer catalogs, I wonder what store got this as an exclusive. I also hope there's still a Green Lantern set still hiding in the first wave somewhere... According to the Licensed Index, 6859 and 6861 are still missing, so there's still two exclusives(?) left for Hal (presumably) to appear in. I wonder what hero the other set'll be based around though. Quote

I wonder what hero the other set'll be based around though. Those are just two set numbers that have been skipped. I'd like to think that they're sets we haven't seen but who really knows besides TLG? That being said, I was really surprised that this new set came up with a different number. I thought for sure when I saw the pic at Brickset that it'd have one of those two set numbers. Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Does anyone know the Canadian prices for all the DC sets by any chance? Quote
Titan Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I just wanted the Riddler, Batman and the Joker and since they come in one cheap set, this is a must-have for me BTW there's already a small review of the Catwomanset on Youtube by a guy named 'LEGOcentric'. He will be doing the Superman set and the Two-Face Chase later... Here's the link: Thanks for this find! I'm a bit worried that he made no mention of a cloth cape in the set.... Quote
Ceroknight Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Thanks for this find! I'm a bit worried that he made no mention of a cloth cape in the set.... There probably isn't one included. Is that supposed to be surprising? I'm happy they included more LEGO rather then a piece of clothe... Quote
Miss Kyle Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Very nice reviews, thanks for the link! I'm getting really impatient now. Want! These! Sets! Quote
Cammo Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Some of you may have noticed the other review on LEGOcentric's account on Youtube. For those who missed out the link, here's the Superman versus Lex set: Link: Quote
giggitygoo Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Wait... where does Green Lantern come into the picture in these sets? Another exclusive? Quote
Lothos Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Went to tru in vegas yesterday, the one on Stephanie and Sunset, picked up the catwoman and Superman sets. Blue batman did not come with a blue cape. Besides that little buggabo, everything else was pretty sweet about those sets. Also got the new camper, the cop car, 2 booster ninjago sets. All in all a good day for lego buying. Still super bummed about the lack of a blue cape though. They also had the batwing but I didn't wanna shell out another 40 bucks. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I love the Funhouse! Plus we do get a blue cape with it, so this is probably the one I'm looking forward to most! Thank you TLG! I still want a Mr. Freeze set, though. Quote

legofett5 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 On youtube this guy did a great review of the Batwing Battle. No hand's involved, just pictures. Quote
dr jones Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Blue batman did not come with a blue cape. NOOOOOOO! Thanks for reporting though. Would it be possible to order this via the Lego customers service? Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) NOOOOOOO! Thanks for reporting though. Would it be possible to order this via the Lego customers service? Depends if they consider it a licensed part or not. They were pretty angry and rude when I complained about a whole bag missing from a licensed set back in 2007 or 2008 (and no, I wasn't lying). Omicron Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Depends if they consider it a licensed part or not. Since that cape was only made for the Batman, they will. -Omi Quote
Lothos Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Well the box art doesn't feature him wearing the cloth cape at all. Like the picture of the figure is batman minus a cape. Which stuck me as odd when I saw it. I immediatly thought "Well that's just for the outside." 5 minutes later. No cape. I was very sad. I'll probably call Lego and see if they can "hook a brother up." as the term goes. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Yeah, now I wonder how many calls or emails Lego customer service will get saying 'Oh, my Batcave set Batman is missing his cape.' so this Bat's can have a cape eh ? Perhaps an extra cape would have raise the price point another notch right ? Interesting to read on the S@H for the USA that the sets featured will be available on the 15th of December......odd footnote, fresh new Batman toys are being released by Mattel plus Batman The Brave & The Bold is back on Cartoon Network in Oz....getting ready for something eh ? The Real Walkers Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Forgive me for being stupid but what are the marvel sets which are to be released?? And are there any pics?? Quote
dr jones Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Since that cape was only made for the Batman, they will. -Omi But you could get the Gold pieces of POTC. Don't they count as licensed? I never found them anywhere out of POTC. :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Forgive me for being stupid but what are the marvel sets which are to be released?? And are there any pics?? Around May for The Avenger's movie release.....if my memory serves me correct and apart from some prototype images of figures from Comic Con....no other images.....Lego are doing their best again hiding stuff. I wish he took a shot of Batman's back, I still don't know if the gray/blue one has backprinting. Quote

Gray/blue bats does have back printing. Just his back muscles and more utility belt with pouches. It's pretty awesome all around. Quote
Jedd the Jedi Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 The funhouse set looks considerably better than the rest of the Batman sets in this wave. I guess I'd like to see more villains' bases/hideouts as opposed to rehashes of the original Batman sets. It's also nice to see Harley Quinn again and to get the Riddler with a bowler hat. Quote
