Sounds like it's worth a trip!

Give me a shout when you're going! :)

I bought the Catwoman, Batwing, Fun House and Superman set all in one go the other day - thanks to the VIP programme I saved 30%! Still Batmobile and Batcave to go, fortunately my birthday is coming up soon! Woop!

I haven't been to TRU yet, nor will I until they have some major sale going on. But no other stores have any superhero sets. The Lego aisle is bare still from post Christmas sales I assume. Very odd... good thing I have been ordering from the website. Yay for VIP points.

So far I've got all of the sets except for the batcave and they're all great with but a few dissapointments. One of those is that a few of the figures have some printing smudges, it isn't really noticeable but still annoys me :hmpf_bad: . My biggest annoyance is still Two-face's color scheme, it's just hideous  . I'm definitely going to do something about it. There really isn't anything else that I was upset with that hasn't already been said. :classic:

Yeah the past few days at Target(s) have been sad to say the least. They are getting their post-christmas stock in and as of today things are looking better. They also had the Two-Face Chase in today.

Even TRU shelves are bare still. I go there checking on the CMF which I know will show up soon.

Well with mine the capes were in together even though Robin was in the last bag.

Thanks for that. I looked in the little cardboard thing but it was not in there.

I called LEGO customer service this morning. They were super polite and helpful. A new cape is on the way. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions and for sharing your experiences.

Good to hear, :classic: and I think I know why the cape was missing.

The textiles are manafactured in China  ...quality may of improved, but I'm still sceptical about their quality control. :sadnew:

Boyo did I choose the right time to come back here, I'm gonna have to hold off posting my Lego Batcave until I get these new additions to intriduce.

That said, quite disappointed the "Dc Superheroes" license is confined to "Batman and we crammed a few others into one set". Still, Wonder Woman is the coolest superhero ever, so its a step up.

And I'm sorry to be that guy, but does anyone know if these are in Australia yet?

Not exactly unexpected but just been on to S@H UK to order my batmobile/two face set and the Funhouse is now on backorder to the 9th March. Be interesting to see how long this wave of sets are around for before they are discontinued. Between that set and the Superman/Wonderwoman set I can see them having very healthy aftermarket prices(for the seller) imo

The Batbrick returns! :oh:

I must alert the media!

I looked on the dutch shop.lego.com website and I can't find the Superheroes theme. It seems that Finland and Sweden don't have this theme either and east European countries only have the Fun house. Why?

Ah thanks, must resist urge to build time machine.

The Batbrick returns! :oh:

I must alert the media!

No don't do that! I live in the shadows! Bricky shadows, but shadows nonetheless!

I must say I'm loving the look of this new Batcave, really Adam West style compared with the other one.

Batbrick Away!

I went to a Target today and they have some of the new sets. They were halfway though a reset, I'd assume all targets will have them in the next week or so.

Also: I got my copy of the Lego Magazine today. In it is a separate comic for the Super Heroes sets, and on the cover is a minifig of Mr Freeze. Have we seen him at all yet? (no pic as I don't have a camera handy, but I'm sure everyone else will get their mag today too and someone will post it).

Oddly enough the cover depicts the 2006/08 Freeze, so I'm guessing he was just being used to fill space. But they could've placed another modern Minifigure (like The Riddler) there instead. Either this is supposed to be a hint at future sets or a slip-up on the part of the artist. I'm leaning towards the latter.

I saw a picture of it too (on a website, I don't have my magazine yet), and it is the '06 minifigure like VenVoi said (it doesn't even have the updated gun from 2008). I'm going to agree with VenVoi that it probably is the ladder () latter and the artist either messed up or did it to fill space.

There is nothing different about the minifigure except for the helmet is more accurate, but still not to the depiction (seems to be a smaller version of Sandy's rounded helmet), but that's probably a mistake. :sceptic:

I still think that we'll see Mr. Freeze sometime, but I think he'll have a Two-Face esque makeover with his original magenta/lime suit  (But as Oky pointed out, that was while his name was still Mr. Zero, but I've seen pictures of Freeze in a similar outfit).

Like VenVoi said though, it is strange that they'd choose him over The Riddler (I don't have the magazine yet though, so if Riddler is on there, this will be null and void), especially if Harley Quinn is on there (again, I don't know yet).

Oh, and speaking of Harley and Riddler, I think the Funhouse is a Wal*Mart exclusive in the US, since from posts I've read it seems as though both Target and TRU have been pretty supplied with LEGOs while Wal*Mart needs to be restocked. If we already know where it's an exclusive and I missed it, please let me know.

Just an FYI: Nether the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, or Harley Quinn are even featured in the actual comic. Mr. Freeze and Harley Quinn are on the cover, though, as previously stated. :sceptic:

So they chose Freeze over Riddler for the cover?

Question: Why is one arm longer than the other on Lex's Power armor suit? They easily could've made his left arm the same length.

Well, I think the right arm is longer because of the gun. If they had made it the same length as the left, it would have hit the other joint. And they only reason I can think of for them not to be symmetrical is because LEGO want to use a few parts as possible.

Well I got the funhouse at the lego store if that counts. Plus I don't really care if they make any more awful color choices, as I still have the originals (except for Bane :hmpf_bad: ).

I'm okay with them cutting down on the arm size for this set-they already made the golden ratio and it's a licensed set, so, I'm fine :classic: (though if I could easily MOD them to the same length without to many rare pieces, that would be nice too)

I think that when it's exclusive to Shop@Home and LEGO stores, they refer to it as Exclusive.

I'm going on the belief that it is a LEGO exclusive - online and stores only. I've been wrong before though . . .

Shop@Home listed it as Hard to Find, which normally means LEGO Stores, Online Shop, and a retailer (usually Wal*Mart, Target, or TRU here in the US). Though, if it isn't for Wal*Mart, I'd think that they mismarked it. (Unless TRU or Target are getting their shipment late for whatever reason.)

I'm sorry, if it has been mentioned before, but:

Today I got the new Lego-catalog (january to july) at our local Toys'R'Us.

It only featured the buildable figures (Grenn Lantern, Joker, Batman, Hulk, Cap, and Iron Man).

They will be released in germany in may (at least according to the catalog).

There's no reference to the minifig-sets.

However, the german Lego-site, and the Lego stores seem to sell all the sets right now.

Is there something, I keep overlooking? To me, it just makes no sense.

Hopefully they will still keep with the animated series look like they did previously with the Batman series. If anything, just add some printed details to his torso/arms or something.
