deskp Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 They go down the side. -Omi I think thats jsut the sideburn that are part of the front face printing, anyways we should go back to the topic here. I really hope you are right and lego will use their all resources, like how arm pringing is very rare, so many minifigures would benefit greatly from this. (when used whisely! I dont think it looks good on the CMF mummy for instance) Quote

Link -Sci Hmm, I was expecting Thor in the Loki set, but glad to hear about Hawkeye, he wasnt mentioned in the press release, so I hope this is true casue hes being presentes as an essential part of the avengers. suprised this sounds like a vehicle set though thought it would be a little part of interior or something Looking forward to seeing magneto and deadpool even tho i dont care too much about non-movie lisences Edited January 14, 2012 by deskp Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 MAGNETO!! More hope for the X-Men Mansion Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Well those additions seem interesting. I was also expecting Thor with Loki, but I'll take any of them. As long as I get them all. And Hawkeye is my all-time favorite Avenger, so I am pumped to have him in Lego form. I wouldn't expect Magneto and Deadpool together, but I don't know much about their origins. I am excited to see these characters though. And to get 3 in each set at that price point (I'm referring to the Barnes and Noble prices), I am quite happy about that. It states B&N will have them 5/1/12, so not much longer now! Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Thanks for those, not that there really is anything new, except for Fury not being included in the Wolverine set and Hawkeye's inclusioin with Loki. Iron Man was the prelminary name for the Loki set, so he isn't a big surprise for me. As for nick fury not being in wolverine set is because I think he is a avengers movie minifigure, wich makes more sense since he is the boss of that, even if the press release mentioned him along with the comic characthers (IF i remember right) Quote

DJ Bricks Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Yeah, as part of the X-men... I read the press release and laughed when they said nick fury was going to be released in the x men set Quote
ScaryScarecrow Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Actually, Jones, Maccus, and Bootstrap were their set designs, I think. I think that TT just knew something we didn't. That reminds me actually, isn't Green Lantern confirmed to be in Batman 2? Maybe they know something we don't, again. But it could always be the comic-con one. That's what I meant, that TT knows more than we do about the future. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I read the press release and laughed when they said nick fury was going to be released in the x men set Apparantly he's in "everything Marvel". But still Maybe the press release isn't as accuarate as we thought. Maybe LEGO are not telling us something, like about the Red Skull Brick Heroes suggested. That's what I meant, that TT knows more than we do about the future. Okay Quote

SoupOrFishOil Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Where was Red Skull mentioned? -Omi Brick Heroes suggested that a Red Skull minifigure might show up. It was just speculation, but I thought it was interesting. And the false info about Fury suggestst that the press release wasn't all that accurate anyway. Here's the article. Quote

I don't completely understand the first part of your post, but I'm not too worried about Fury not appearing. LEGO promised This just means he won't appear in the X-men set like they said he would. SoupOrFishOil Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I meant if they are doing the avengers, they are probably making a Nick Fury minifigure. Yeah, that's probably it. But still... I guess I'm just feeding the Red Skull idea, but unless Loki is in the Cap set, I don't know who else. I suppose that generic bad guys are an option, but it wouldn't feel right... Quote

He wasn't even in the comic version of the plot outlined in the movie. -Omi Quote

Cammo Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 sorry to interrupt the current discussion but I saw that the batcave is available at the official online Legoshop for European customers. (Checked for Belgium too). I hope that the rest of the 1st DC-wave will arrive in EU-countries pretty soon. Altough I'm only interested in the Dynamic Duo Escape/Funhouse set. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I'm only getting the Batman sets from DC, might get the Superman set but I'm still on the fence about that one. But I am getting all the Marvel sets the moment the come out! Quote
