SoupOrFishOil Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Because Bruce Wayne doesn't change in the streets, and neither does Selina Kyle. duh -Omi Of course Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Yes, you are disappointing but as Neville said, it seems that it still includes Wolverine's bike. And the other set includes an off-roader apparently. I'm picturing something like the Two Face Chase set, but without the Batmobile, and part of the SHIELD HQ instead of the bank. It only has 181 pieces I don't thinkit'll be that big Quote

Oky Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks, do you think the hulk set will include a Bruce Banner fig and a transformation device thing? Well, like others have said, it would be hard having a transformation feature since the Hulk is so big, and there has been no mention of a Banner fig, so I'd say no. But it's still a possibility, I think. It only has 181 pieces I don't think it'll be that big Good point. Maybe no Headquarters then, just the off-roader. Auto-correct..... nuff said. Don't rely on it. Nuff said. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks, do you think the hulk set will include a Bruce Banner fig and a transformation device thing? I'd just like to say that if it does turn out that there is a Banner figure included and/or a transformation device (though if there is a transforming device, of course Banner would be included), remind me, and you can have bragging rights. Omicron Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Well, like others have said, it would be hard having a transformation feature since the Hulk is so big, Kinda wish they made the Hulk fig open up to fit a fig inside. -Omi Quote
Oky Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 How rare is the Dynamic Duo set? This has been discussed several times before. Check a few pages back and you'll find the answer. Kinda wish they made the Hulk fig open up to fit a fig inside. That would be kinda neat I suppose, but unnecessary when you can just swap out the Hulk with Banner. Quote

Kids would want to r reenact banner turning into the hulk! Pluse to add to your other point about Bruce not being on the announcement list, a bunch of the DC minifigures we got in those sets weren't even on that list!!!! I for one don't believe that the spiderman set only includes him and Doc Ock! that would be nice but I don't think so! Quote

DJ Bricks Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Other then the henchmen and the guard I don't think there were any. You are right! But i am saying they might have done the same with Marvel! Left out a couple and one might be Bruce Banner! Edited January 16, 2012 by Neville longbottem Quote
Oky Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Highly unlikely. I can understand if they didn't mention those unnamed, generic characters as that's nothing to brag about, but they would want people to know that they're getting a Bruce Banner. After all, they told us about Bruce Wayne, so why wouldn't they mention Banner? Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Doing a transforming Hulk play feature does sound right up Lego's alley, though. Show us pics already, Lego! I have a budget to plan for. Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) The chances of a Bruce Banner figure is quite high. We don't (I think) know which set Hulk is even in...Banner's laboratory maybe? Edited January 16, 2012 by Ceroknight Quote
Omicron Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 We don't (I think) know which set Hulk is even in...Banner's lavatory maybe? Why would the Hulk be in Bruce Banner's bathroom? On second thought, don't answer that. -Omi Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Why would the Hulk be in Bruce Banner's bathroom? On second thought, don't answer that. -Omi Sorry, I never was a big fan of Hulk, so I don't know how the story goes, but I just assumed it was a Dr Jekl and Mr Hyde type of thing.. Quote

Basically experiment gone wrong, and the effects of rage causes Banner to turn into the Hulk. Initially uncontrollable but now he can do it at will. -Omi Quote

We don't know for a fact, but I think it is a safe bet that he will be in the set titled "Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout". Sorry, I never was a big fan of Hulk, so I don't know how the story goes, but I just assumed it was a Dr Jekl and Mr Hyde type of thing.. It is, actually, except that the transformation isn't triggered by a potion, but anger. Ever heard the phrase "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry"? Quote

Vindice Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 That is excellent news! I only have to get 2 sets the Quinjet and Helicarrier! Don't want too many of that muppet Captain America! I suppose I'll have to resort ot bricklink for Loki though. Quote

Aanchir Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Why would the Hulk be in Bruce Banner's bathroom? On second thought, don't answer that. -Omi I guess since the original post you quoted has been edited, it's too late for a "you wouldn't like me when I'm constipated!" joke. Ah well. I'm not sure how well a Hulk transforming feature would work in a set, but that's just because the Batman transforming feature in the Batcave set isn't exactly concise, and the Hulk figure is bigger to begin with. Depending on the size of the set (forgive me if I missed this), it could possibly be done, but I have some degree of doubt. Quote
