Hobbestimus Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Quinjet is confirmed. We aren't getting the Fantastic Four this time around, and I don't know what the Blackbird is, so I don't know there. Is it Black Widow's vehicle? The Blackbird is the plane the X-Men use. A modified SR-71, usually. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The Blackbird is the plane the X-Men use. A modified SR-71, usually. Okay. Then that doesn't sound like something we'll get this wave, Wolverine's motorcycle is the vehicle in the sole X-men set. (Then maybe it's X-mAn?) Quote
ReZourceman Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I think the descriptuion of the Wolverine set said it was Helicopter vs Motorcycle. Quote
Oky Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Loki and off roader images (from movie) that should give us a better idea of the what the off roader in the scene looks like. LINK Interesting, thanks. I'm guessing the cosmic cube will be represented in the form of Loki's scepter with a trans-blue piece on it, kinda like the snake staffs from Ninjago. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 All the marvel sets sound promising! But which version of his suits will Iron Man have! The mark 3 or the the triangle one( I don't remember which mark that is) Quote
surrideo Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Just watching my boys playing with the Catwoman cycle with it's infernally "sticky" wheel. For those who know a little/or a lot more than me. Is Captain Americas cycle likely to be similar to the one in the Pharoahs quest Golden Guardians set from last year ableit in a different colour? Quote
Hobbestimus Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Is Captain Americas cycle likely to be similar to the one in the Pharoahs quest Golden Guardians set from last year ableit in a different colour? That's certainly how I've been imagining it. But I don't think anyone can say what is "likely". It might also be like Kai's Blade Cycle in Ninjago, only Cap themed. Quote
Rocketbilly Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) It might also be like Kai's Blade Cycle in Ninjago, only Cap themed. This is what I'm expecting, a brick-built motorcycle perhaps along the lines of the two Bat-cycles we've gotten in the Superheroes theme so far. Edited January 22, 2012 by Rocketbilly Quote
surrideo Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 (edited) This is what I'm expecting, a brick-built motorcycle perhaps along the lines of the two Bat-cycles we've gotten in the Superheroes theme so far. I'd expect Wolverine's bike to be brick built, along the lines of the Skull motorbike from last years ninjago(though that would suit Ghost Rider more). For the amount of pieces in the Captain america set though I can see it being the Pharoahs quest bike mould and some scenery akin to the Catwoman set. The two bat cycles are horribly unfinished and I hope to see no more like them. I also own Kais bike and I'd love to see a similar set for a suitable hero in the future Edited January 22, 2012 by surrideo Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I'm confused, I thought no one knew the piece count for the Cap set? Can someone tell me if I've missed something? Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 London Toy Fair tomorrow! I know we won't have pictures, but still... Quote
Cammo Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 How do you mean no pictures. Aren't those allowed? Quote
Mesonak Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 How do you mean no pictures. Aren't those allowed? Not at the London Toy Fair, no. Photography is prohibited. And while thee's always the chance of someone sneaking pictures, I'll hazard a guess that the licensed themes will be under lock and key. We'll likely get detailed descriptions, though. Quote
YangHao6998 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Isn't his pants suppose to be purple? And looks like no wings for cap Nice LOTR picture anyway Quote
LMB10 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Isn't his pants suppose to be purple? And looks like no wings for cap Nice LOTR picture anyway Its looking likley his pants will be that colour in the film. If they ever do a comic based Hulk it'll probably have purple pants. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Have to be honest... I HATE Cap's eyes. But the Hulk looks pretty great. I'm sure we'll get comic versions of the Avengers next year or something, and we can all get the purple pants-wearing Hulk then...? Quote
deskp Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Here is some information about the sets from Toy fair LINK Red skull seems quite plausible. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I must admit the Hulk minifig is beginning to grow on me, especially now with the head printing which significantly gives the fig an overall better look than the crude preliminary version we've previously seen before. Cap's pretty good IMO. Now what I'm interested to see is how they'll fix the hideous oversized helmet of Iron Man. Quote

TheLegoDr Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 After seeing these, I'm not as excited as I initially was. I love Marvel, but I am torn on these. I'll have to hold the box in my hands to decide if I want them or not. I haven't purchased the new Batman sets because I wasn't in love with them. I am excited for Hawkeye in Lego form though. Quote
deskp Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Link/image please? LINK, Warning its not any smaller than the comic con one, but personaly I like it Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I am excited for Hawkeye in Lego form though. I am not because he's a generic archer in generic combat gear. Gimme good ol purple Hawkeye and then I'll get excited. Quote
surrideo Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 We've already seen a finalized cg version of Ironman and hes helmet! I think considering it will open it has to be that big so the rim of the helmet won't snap. Be interesting to see Iron man and a batman minifig side by side to see the difference(if any) in height?
