SBrown Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Really stupid question and I apologize if it has already been asked or not revealed yet but does anyone know/suspect if any of these sets will be store exclusive? Quote

DJ Bricks Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Wow, that picture is pretty much just as bad as not having one at all. Drat. If you look on that same website, there's the Super Bowl ad for the avengers! And it shows some weird alien aircraft, aka the second vilian! Quote
Cammo Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Sorry to interrupt your discussion here but I come with the following message: More DC-sets are finally available in more regions of Europe (Online-shops that is.) Batcave Superman versus Lex Batwing battle over Gotham Catwoman Catcycle Chase Still no sign of the two-face robbery and Funhouse though I will check for them near the end of this week in my local stores. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I have just reported that all but the Fun House sets were being stacked on shelves at Target Tea Tree Plaza today....of course I visited the layby counter with all but the Batcave....that came home straight away with me ! So more Targets across Oz should be getting them real soon. Now that's Europe and Australia they have been seen....where else ? Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 have you all guys seen this? This sort of thing doesn't belong in this thread. I'm sure it's a cool video but this is for the discussion of the sets. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This sort of thing doesn't belong in this thread. I'm sure it's a cool video but this is for the discussion of the sets. It shows us what the vichicles look like and what will probably be in the sets! Quote
LMB10 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It shows us what the vichicles look like and what will probably be in the sets! ... Thats a fan video, with custom minifigs. Nothing to do with what will be in the sets. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It shows us what the vichicles look like and what will probably be in the sets! Don't argue, Neville. ... Thats a fan video, with custom minifigs. Nothing to do with what will be in the sets. Exactly. Can we keep on topic here for at least a couple of pages, guys? I'd hate to have to close this thread when new info seems to be coming out every day about this theme. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I'm surprised that there are no reports from the German Toy Fair. -Sci Quote
Mesonak Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Fun fact; contrary to what everyone thinks, just because it started today doesn't mean we'll necessarily see coverage from it immediately. We didn't see coverage from the Lego section last year until the 6th, and even then, it only featured some select few themes, minimal amounts of sets, and no pictures; just shaky-cam footage. Yeah...I can't name a website I check that has coverage of Nuremberg, I usually don't see anything until NYCC. Looking forward to seeing the minifigures, I recently became interested in what Black Widow will look like. If her face looks just right, I might have to BrickLink it. Quote
SBrown Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Didn't the DC sets have 18 figures, not 17 with two different Two Face Goons (or two different batmans depending on perception of duplicates)? So is there a good chance you think we will get two different versions of one or two of the figures from the Marvel lines? Quote

I don't think there will be two variations for Marvel. Quote

halomaster96 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Where'd you get 18 from? I don't think there will be two variations for Marvel. They could do Thor and Loki with and without their helmets . Or maybe modern and WW2 Captain America . Quote

Lothos Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Has anyone heard about "War Machine" being a figure? Or is it just Iron Man? Quote
Big T Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Didn't the DC sets have 18 figures, not 17 with two different Two Face Goons (or two different batmans depending on perception of duplicates)? So is there a good chance you think we will get two different versions of one or two of the figures from the Marvel lines? That might be a bit hopeful. Batman was in all bar one of the sets, and is based on different interpretations. Most of the Marvel sets are based on one source material (the movie) and the characters aren't doubled up in quite as many sets. Reckon we'll just get the one style for each guy for this wave. Down the track tho I'd expect to see some new interpretations or variations. I'm really curious to see how they do Black Widow honestly. Judging on the trailer and photos, her hair might need a new mould which could look really cool if done right. Quote
