Reasoning: Let's kill the little guys first, then do our double damage attacks to the machine gun all at once. IF it only attacks one target, I can soak up most of the damage with my SP. Target the guards, then machine gets a free attack on me, and I soak up the attack, then it can't attack the next round.

OR does it get 4 free attacks, and if so, do those free attacks just go down the order one after the other?

Sound good?

My attack will effect everyone. It's best to do that attack and affect the most people.

The battles starts with the heroes opponents preparing for battle. Erdathcath shoots at Guard 3, but misses and is attacked (0 DD, 4/2=2 2>2 2DR, -0E). The machine gun turns on Hoke and rapid-fires at him, but fortunately he is able to block the shots with his Shield. Durkon tries firing lightning at the machine gun, but misses and the Mechanic buffs the contraption. Slyph lands a hit on the machine gun as he is doing this, but it barely makes a dent. The two leaders meet, Tomas is preparing to attack but is kicked backward and falls down on the table. The battle continues!

"Alright, now we have to focus our attacks so that we don't invoke many free hits. We'll just have to endure the numerous attacks from the machine gun until we destroy it. Before Hoke could target the machine gun, it turns on him. The gunner smiles maniacally as he unloades the machine gun on Hoke. Hoke dives under his shield just in time to feel the hot projectiles thud harmlessly into it. He leaps and rolls to another spot hoping to out maneuver the gunner before his next attack.

Tomas, could you put me first on the list and then cast a spell at someone, or throw a fire bomb at the machine gun to get it caught on fire? Hoke, could you specify what your attack is? (and maybe target someone else to cut down on free attacks?)"
