Dannylonglegs Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 "What do ya need?" "Spirit Fog. Do you know where and how one can obtain Spirit fog, sir?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 "Spirit Fog. Do you know where and how one can obtain Spirit fog, sir?" "Sprite what?" The man thinks for a moment. "I don't know what you are talking about. There some superstitious persons over there." The old man points towards the Tavern. Quote
RPGer Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon walks over to Sylph and Hoke. "Does your village have a market?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon walks over to Sylph and Hoke. "Does your village have a market?" "A market yes." The old man points to the west. At this time, the market is most likely closed. Quote
RPGer Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon walks to the market to browse the wares. Quote
The_Customizer Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 OOC: What time would it be right now? I believe those in the tavern may have some information for us, and who knows what else they may have. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon walks to the market to browse the wares. "Durkon, I've never had a puppy, nor cats, so I don't know how the first one acts, nor how to herd the latter, but come. Now, let's find those superstitious folks in the tavern." Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon walks to the market to browse the wares. Durkon looks around, but all of the wares are either locked away or taken down for the night. OOC: What time would it be right now? QM Note: Night time, it is dark outside. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Durkon looks around, but all of the wares are either locked away or taken down for the night. "Now that you're finished wandering, can we please look for superstitious people in the Tavern who might actually be able to help us achieve our goal of accumulating the requisite components of the potion to imbue the sword?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 QM Note: Sorry for the delay, I'm a little busy right now but I'll have the quest rolling again later today. Quote
RPGer Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Durkon ruefully walks over to the tavern and looks for anything useful a drunk may have dropped outside. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 Durkon searches the ground for anything drunks might have dropped and finds a gold coin and some shards of glass. He pockets the coin and continues with the party inside the tavern. The bar is most likely selling drinks, some that might be able to help the party. The party can talk to anyone in the bar and see if they want to try to gamble/play a strategy game. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 "Well, Feel free to play games guys, but I'm going to look for anyone who looks superstitious." Quote
The_Customizer Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Based on my previous experiences in gambling here, I would recommend you don't. OOC: Can we talk to more than one person at once? Quote

Bricksandparts Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 "Well, Feel free to play games guys, but I'm going to look for anyone who looks superstitious." Sylph looks around for anyone that looks superstitious, but can't distinguish anyone. Quote
RPGer Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Durkon walks to the bartender. "What drinks do you have? And do you know who in here is rather "superstitious?" Quote
The_Customizer Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I would like to talk with the lady with the broom. "Fine evening, how are you doing?" Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Sylph looks around for anyone that looks superstitious, but can't distinguish anyone. "Good call Durkon." Says Sylph as Drurkonette makes girl-talk with the Bartender. Sylph approaches the man who is sitting alone who looks like he might be a sailor. "Good evening sir. Would you happen to know anything about Spirit Fog?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 Durkon walks to the bartender. "What drinks do you have? And do you know who in here is rather "superstitious?" The lady looks at Durkon with a stern face and pulls some bottles onto the table. "Ale and mead." The lady says with a gruff voice. Mead - Causes the encouraged-effect, doubling the target's attack power for the duration of one battle. Costs 12 gold. Ale - Makes an enemy catch on fire if a fire spell is cast upon them, causing the *Caught On fire* effect making them lose health N+1 each round. (1 damage first round, 2 damage second round, 3 damage 3rd round, etc.)Costs 22 gold. I would like to talk with the lady with the broom. "Fine evening, how are you doing?" The Orc maid it appears turns to Erdathcath and smiles. "Nice to see a new face around here. What brings you to our small village?" "Good call Durkon." Says Sylph as Drurkonette makes girl-talk with the Bartender. Sylph approaches the man who is sitting alone who looks like he might be a sailor. "Good evening sir. Would you happen to know anything about Spirit Fog?" "Wash'd you stalking abbout?" The sailor appears to be very drunk and stretches before getting up and lying on the ground. Quote

Well, it is a long story filled with marvels, mischief, misunderstandings, and many other things that begin with "m". But that is besides the point, right now, me and my friends need to find some Spirit Fog, might you happen to know anyone who might possibly have it, or seen it? Quote

"Oh Nature" States Sylph in an annoyed and slightly repulsed fashion. "Sir, I'm sorry that you are inebriated at the moment, but I'm on a tight schedule." Sylph reaches into his bag and takes out a cylindrical leaf and a seed pod. "Chew these," He commands. "They should make you a bit less groggy, and maybe do something for the headache I imagine you'll incur tomorrow morning. Once you've begun chewing, would you please tell me if you know anything about 'Spirit Fog.'" Quote
