Whirlpool vs. Sylph - Sand-in-your-eyes - Sand from the whirlpool is thrown into the hero's eyes blinding them for 1 round. Whirlpool vs. Tomas - None - nothing happens. Effects: ~~~ The heroes draw their weapons as the sands start shifting, and the battle begins. Erdathcath throws a holy bomb at the opponents and knocks them back. Durkon takes what he can from Ghost B, but seems clumsy in his new body and gets his neck fractured from a severe blow from his opponent. Durkon falls over and doesn't get up. Hoke, with his ability to damage undead opponents, slices at Ghost B, causing him to stumble and fall backwards. Sylph, reluctant to help Durkon ( ) Summons roots to appear and surround Durkon reviving him and other damage taken to the other party members. Tomas tries to Hurt Ghost A, but cannot do it. As the battle continues, the ground trembles and the Whirlpool starts spinning violently. As this is happening, Erdathcath gets stuck in the sand and must stop battling to get out of the sand while Sylph tries rubbing sand out of his eyes but isn't having much luck. The battle continues! OOC: Shouldn't the holy bomb take away 10 damage as it is the spirit's weakness? No, because they were undead (weak to light) and holy (Immune to light) so it just caused 5 damage. Quote

Tomas is able to heal Ghost C some, causing it to shriek and flee from him. Erdathcath is finally able to get out of the quicksand, and Sylph and Tomas get sand in their eyes in the heat of battle. It is looking more and more like the heroes may not finish this battle winning.
