June 18, 201212 yr Golder doors? Where can you find them? I haven't seen them yet. I think you have to build them, look for bouncing golden bricks... I THINK there is one by the building before you cross the bridge to arkham.
June 18, 201212 yr I just found out that you can scan the map and the golden dots are where the gold bricks are. The doors for the golden doors, the red dots for minikits and the purple dots are for civilian in peril.
June 18, 201212 yr 'Launchtrailer' Unlike virtually other LEGO game, the jokes in this were actually quite witty and made me laugh. I definitely think that voice acting beats "slapstick humour miming" any day.
June 19, 201212 yr Sorry to double-post, but the PC demo is available at LEGO.com. Thanks for that, I'm now curently downloading and can't wait to play it.

June 19, 201212 yr Quick question, is the Gotham City free roam in the Wii version? Yes there is . And also, where do you buy/ get the characters? Is there a shop? Edited June 19, 201212 yr by sologuy369
June 19, 201212 yr Posted this in my 30164 Lex Luthor review thread: Today, while I was at school doing exams, my father went and picked up the game for me, as it had arrived. They gave him another Lex figure, so I've got two now! (Also, they gave me downloadable character codes: Nightwing, Katana, Shazam, Zatanna, Damian Wayne, Bizarro, Captain Cold, Black Adam, Black Manta, and Gorilla Grood.) I didn't know they'd give me those character codes! Can't wait to try the game out.
June 20, 201212 yr So I got the game and it's awesome. Does anyone know what point in the game can you start using any character?
June 20, 201212 yr Just started playing. It's the best LEGO game so far. Well, tied for best with LSW The Complete Saga. But Batman 2 has the best graphics and gameplay so far. Somehow in multiplayer the splitscreen is easier to follow than usual. And the voices in the cutscenes add a lot to it, they're hilarious! So I got the game and it's awesome. Does anyone know what point in the game can you start using any character? I'm trying to figure this out too...I need to see if my downloaded characters worked properly!!
June 20, 201212 yr So I got the game and it's awesome. Does anyone know what point in the game can you start using any character? once the story is completed (15 levels)
June 20, 201212 yr once the story is completed (15 levels) Is that when you can buy the characters too? Edited June 20, 201212 yr by sologuy369
June 20, 201212 yr Is that when you can buy the characters too? No you can buy characters at almost any time, you need to find golden doors for some and defeat villains by finding them on the map. Hope that helps.
June 20, 201212 yr Started playing the game today and it is definitely up there as one of the best Lego games so far. However, I encountered two (and a half) glitches so far.... At the first stage: The first one was at the beginning stage, right after defeating Harley Quinn. I dropped down the opening in the middle of the stage to proceed to the next section. There were the NPCs playing their instruments. I cleared that section out, but then COULD NOT proceed any further. I destroyed everything around there, tried targeting stuff, but nothing. I searched online, and found a youtube clip of the gameplay. In watching that clip, I saw the player dropped down the stage, and there was a giant golden instrument of some sort, with the Riddler's feet sticking out. And eventually, that instrument was used to blow up the wall on the right side. Problem was, with my gameplay, there WAS NO Riddler. I had to restart the mission, and the second time, he was there At the first part of free-roaming (half glitch): At the very beginning of free roaming right after finishing the first mission, I was climbing/grapple-hooking my way up that tall building (on the left side I believe), and eventually I dropped down after getting to the highest point. I fell into a hole on the side of the building, and it was too tall/high for me to jump out. There was no grapple point around, so I was basically stuck there. I had to switch over to Robin, and when the AI took over Batman, it somehow escaped that hole and eventually made its way next to me. Fortunately I was able to switch to Robin, or else that would have been a restart again.... At the Batcave: After the cut scene of Lex Luthor breaking the Joker out of Arkham, the gameplay went back to the Batcave. I moved Batman over to the center of the platform, where the batcomputer(?) popped up and there was a short cut scene of Bruce talking to Martian Manhunter. After that was over and gameplay resumed, I moved Bruce around to the BACK of the Batcomputer and the game froze entirely. I couldn't move, pause, even holding down the PS3 button did nothing. I had to hard boot the system. After reloading the game, I tried again (retraced my steps), and fortunately, it did not freeze again when I walked behind the Batcomputer. I don't think I've encountered this much frustration in such short amount of time on a Lego game so far. The awesomeness of the game more than makes up for it, but I hope there isn't going to be any more issues as the game progresses....
