deskp Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 (edited) I've tried this level too many times now to know that it isn't the statues or the jeep. I need 2 more minikits, and every time I start the level I destroy the jeep and I always destroy the statues. There are 3 arrows that point to nothing no matter the phase of the level, one is near the park across from one of the headlights, another is just floating above the park, and the last one is at a street corner at the end of the bridge a few seconds after the last one. These arrows point to nothing and it's really starting to frustrate me. There is another jeep, right when you turn a corner with the park on your left. here is a quote "You need to hit three different statues. The level repeats, and if you hit the same statue twice, the last minikit becomes impossible. Make sure every time you shoot one, it's a unique one. They respawn each time you go around the block, so it's easy to hit the same one twice." have you destroyed: all the purple and green boxes? the police helicopter? the 10 searchlights? the lex posters? deskp Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I have done all of that and I still need two more. I kindof think youre mistaken, cause the 2 jeeps and the statues are the ones everyones having trouble with. remember you need to destroy the 2. jeep not jsut hit it a few time. I cant help you, but in a few days xbox achievments guide website will have guide video up, theyve done minikit guides up to level 6 so far. Quote

Remus_Lupin Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Got this yesterday. I'm loving the gameplay but the voice acting has, as I feared, removed the classic charm and humour you'd expect to find in a LEGO game. It's not so much the presence of voice acting itself, but the dialogue - it is truly woeful. Really childish and just downright cringeworthy at times I only just finished the second level so I'm hoping it gets better. Quote

I think exactly the opposite... the voice acting's removed the silly and childish slapstick miming humour and brought good dialogue and really witty lines into LB2. I wonder if the scripting is different on console versions... Quote

I think exactly the opposite... the voice acting's removed the silly and childish slapstick miming humour and brought good dialogue and really witty lines into LB2. I wonder if the scripting is different on console versions... I doubt it is. I've gotten one or two small chuckles, but on the whole I've found it to be fairly awful. Most of the lines just come across as really forced humour to me, especially anything that The Joker says. It really makes me wonder how the LOTR dialogue is going to work though - there can't be much in the way of original dialogue if they're taking the voices from the film, which seems to be the case from the trailer. I was hitting the same statues over and over again! I also needed the second jeep even though the arrow never pointed to it! I'm sorry for doubting you. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Does anybody (deskp ) know how to get those two gold bricks in the park which the detector shows being in the lake? I've done the swan boat race and battleship game three times each, so I know it isn't either of those. Quote
Fives Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I just got this game for the Wii, and I reached the fourth level, in he room with Mr. Freeze. I don't know if it glitches, but I couldn't get past that room, so I exited the level. Now, I'm being forced to replay level three with the maze. Is there anything I can do to get back to where I was? Quote

CF Mitch Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Yaay, I finally got the game, whoohoo I really love it. Just played the first level with Superman, he's awesome So far, my favorite suits are Batman's Electricity Suit and Robin's Hazard and Ice suit, they're really cool One question, though. Is there someplace where you can watch the cinematics again? Or is that in some area of the Batcave that you unlock later? Regards, Mitch Quote

Is there anything I can do to get back to where I was? go to free roam and walk to the place where level four starts, once the missions starts it should put you at the place in the level where you last saved. how exactly were you "forced" to play level 3 again? did you use the level select on the map? if you did dont do that. don't think you can select a level you ahvent completed from there Yaay, I finally got the game, whoohoo I really love it. Regards, Mitch Theres is no palce to watch the cinematics again, but you can start the missions over in story mode that way you atleast get to see the opening cinematics again.. Best bet would be youtube! I find all the suits to be anoying, they should be able to keep them in their inventory. I feel like an idiot. I was hitting the same statues over and over again! halomaster96 Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Haha, congrats on getting them! did you 100% it yet? Yes I just did after finishing the bonus level! 100% completion and achievements! IMO, best lego game yet. Quote
Fives Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Thanks, deskp. I did use the level select, thinking if I replayed level three, it would let me continue story from there. I finally found my way to Arkham Asylum. Also, I finished the frist level with Superman. He is so amazing! He has super strength, which made Batman's strength suit seem stupid. His freeze breath got rid of the need for Robin's Ice Suit. He could fly, so he could get past almost anything... I wish I could have just ditched Batman and Robin and used Superman the whole way through! After I completed that level, though, I wanted to see if I could use Superman to fly freely around Gotham. Turns out I couldn't, and I'm just curious if that isn't allowed until story mode is complete. Quote

There might be a point later on after a mission youc an freeroam with the all powerfull superman, but the real fun free roam doesent really happen uintill after the story ends. btw, Robins ice suit is still needed for ice switches. Im a brickmaster. Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I just finished the super man level, wow he has a lot of powers! How do you get past the tank thing circling the block? The bat signle is right on it, I'm sure it's the way to the next level I've tried to stop it with the Batmobile, but you can imagine how that turned out. My favorite is the acrobat suit and ethier the elctro suit or the bat suit,'cause the bat suit can glide! Quote

I can't find him on the map. For all the villains to show up you need to use/activate all the remote batcave terminals. the ones with red pillars of light coming off them are not activated yet. Lance Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) My son got the game yesterday, and I must say, it looks incrdible. I personally don't play video games, but I may need to try this one Unfortunetley, there were no pre-order offers with the Lex minifig, and my son was a bit dissapointed that he didn't get one. They didn't give it away with the pre order here in France If anyone has a spare for sale, I'd be willing to disscus purchasing it Edited June 24, 2012 by Lance Quote
Dervish Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 There are no villain missions. Awwww... crud Lots of more loading times, lots of more unskippable videos, no Tommy Lee Jones or Jim Carrey voices.. Oh well, hope LOTR will fix. Quote

Wow! you find those would be the best voice actors? you do realise this is not based directly off any other movie/tv series right? Two face and Riddler arent even really featured in this. Loading times are longer cause there are more and higher quality assets in the game. The videos are skippable once the loading is over.. Quote
